EMDR life changing !!

I have heard about EMDR for a while and just started it myself. I have had some success but wonder if my therapist is trained enough in it.
These are some amazing stories.
Some very graphic and a bit triggering.
I am a dental hygienist and the story about the little boy being abused by his grandfather infuriated me.
The results he has with EMDR to be able to overcome this abuse and others with mild to severe trauma is inspiring.
Part of me thinks she did not need to go into as much detail of the abuse.
The story of the poor baby waking up during surgery.
Sometimes the people having more trauma from a dismissive parent or bully.
I still need to look at pdf included with this audio book but I am glad there is a pdf.
If your looking for help with addiction to drugs , sex ,have ptsd or in an a relationship with a toxic or narcissist get this.

Wow, Incredible information!

This book explains the versatility of EMDR, I thought it was just for PTSD but no, it covers a lot more issues. This book covers many issues that can be addressed by EMDR, including substance abuse! Written by the woman who discovered it, it is a great overview of what to expect when getting treatment as a patient. Very informative with many touching stories. Definitely worth listening to!
