amazing book !! Really worth listening. It changes the way you relate with your children.

Fantastic audible

This book was recommended to me by my child's doctor along with "Raising Motivated Kids" and I only regret I didn't have this book years earlier. It's given us a whole new perspective and attitude with tools that actually work. Yeah we get tons of "advice" but none of it works because each kid is different. This book has helped me properly discipline my young kids so they are not only doing what they are supposed to, but My wife and I understand their age appropriate behavior better. We also see how we are able to set them up to succeed or fail from our examples. I have had the book for a few weeks and have implemented some of the concepts with fantastic results.

This may be the bible on how to stop getting mad, and take appropriate action with your child. Buy it to be a better parent.

My favorite!!

It teaches the same principles of Love and Logic, but is more specific about how to apply the principles. It works on the concept of natural consequences instead of time outs and punishments. My favorite thing about this method of parenting is that I felt like it is actually helping our children learn to be responsible adults. We are creating the same situatoins they will encounter as they leave home and function in the world. They are gaining confidence by making decisions on their own. They are using self-discipline to do their chores, instead of being ordered to do everything. This book teaches us how to raise responsible, respectful, confident and most importantly, happy children!
