Lies and cliffhangers

The ladies have done it again, the heart wrenching lies, truths and insane cliffhangers. I really hope they don’t rip my heart out in book 3.

Of course our narrators are excellent and help bring this story to life!

Great story and great narrative!

I started reading the first book but saw a review on Insta that raved about the book on audible! Boy was I NOT disappointed! This series is narrated in Duet style. Which I wish would pick up more! When we want to hear our bad boy, morally gray love interest lay on the chemistry with our kick ass main gal, I want to hear the rasp and the male energy. And this does NOT disappoint!! Can’t wait to start book 3! Love the emotions: sarcasm, wit, dry humor, angst, you feel it all!

I am loving this series

Tate James and Jaymin Eve have three great tropes in this series. Mafia, Rock Star, and Why Choose. Who could ask for a better mix? Brooke Daniels and Lucas Webley are amazing together. They bring the characters to life.

Loving the cliffhangers

Ok I wanted it to get better and it has! I like the way the writers a leaking truths little by little and it keeps me coming back for more.

Great Continuation to Book 1

This book follows the one before it and uncovers some of the layers of mystery and fire inside of these characters and relationships. The story and performance for this series were incredible! I have high expectations for the authors and narrators because they are incredible - and they did NOT disappoint! If it sounds good to you at all, go for it!!

I am officially hooked on this book series. I can't wait for the next one. These authors never disappoint they are amazing And I love the narrators on this. I wish I could give it more than five stars for everything because it's so deserves more.

A must read!! Wonderful work from authors and narrators. The spice and drama are unreal. Absolutely in love with this series.

Man could have been epic

The first one was a typical Tate James success even if Billy is a total damsel in distress unlike other Tate James books which star really strong and put up fight female badasses, but this one… repeat of stories, too much whining … and seriously, the field sex… ugh, left me with my skin crawling in an a really uncomfortable way, and I bloody love gore romance, but sex just a few short mins after watching someone so close to the primary characters being murdered… doesn’t fit the character development of Billy who is so
Damsel in distress weak with giant heart and empathy. Didn’t sit well with me.

I adore Tate James in my top 3 authors for sure and I’ve listened to every book she’s written and this is the last series I hadn’t explored… left me
Feeling… unsatisfied this time. Hopefully book 3 that is already downloaded and ready will salvage this series for me.

Great story, love voices, characters and music

Loved this story. Much heat, sex and language. I really loved the music they put in the story. Sounded great

PLEASE never sing in an audiobook again.

what's with the singing. please don't. I immediately fast forward through it. I liked the rest of the book.
