Wow...talk about drawing me in

Wow... talk about drawing me in. From the start I had so many questions and was intrigued by the devastating secrets I knew would eventually be revealed. Dante and Makenna actually had a very insta-love scenario after meeting again for their arranged marriage, but underneath that it kind of seemed they were written in the stars...the perfect union of a powerhouse couple who'd do anything for each other. I find myself very curious about the other characters introduced, although I tend to still be on the fence sometimes with mafia books. As a mafia book, there is a lot of violence so if squeamish take that into consideration. The narration by Walker Williams and Hayden Hall really brought the story to life.

Best Mafia Heroine Romance

I loved this audiobook. First time hearing this author and she did not disappoint. This is the kind of heroin romance I have search for a long time!!!! Please keep up the amazing Job! You have a fan!!!

loved the storyline

I loved the plot here. I feel that narration was ok, not my favorite but definitely not bad. I loved that the female lead was doing an Irish accent. The story was incredible. I loved how much of a baddy she is!!

Really Great Audiobook 5 ⭐️ for me

This book is about an arranged marriage between two rival Mafia cartels. But Makenna and Dante’s relationship is anything but peaceful.
Excellent audiobook.The dynamics between Dante and Makenna are off the charts and their mutual bloodthirst only fans the flames of their relationship. I found this
book to be very fast paced but absolutely loved everything about it! 

Bloody fantastic

I have loved this book since the first day it came out and hearing it was even better. The narrators were absolutely phenomenal and it brought a whole new vision to me to hear someone reading the words. I really hope all the other books get put into audio as well with these two narrating. Just absolutely perfect.

Excellent audiobook

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Brooke Summers. She wrote well with a great storyline and characters. Dante and Makenna were perfect for each other. I enjoyed their interaction between each other as well as their family and friends. I became invested in them. I couldn't pause the audio so kept listening into the late night. I look forward to more of her audiobooks.

Hayden Hall was a new to me narrator. I have heard Walker Williams several times before. Both are excellent narrators. They brought the story to life. Perfect performances.

Bloody Union

I really enjoyed this. So much so, I listened to it straight through! Great story, easy listening with excellent narration. There was plenty of blood, the right amount of steam, and a believable love story. Most definitely worth your time and credit!!!!

This os AWESOME! I was BLOWN away!

I really don’t know what to say about this other that it’s AWESOME! I was BLOWN AWAY! This is easily worth as second or third listen!

The characters are plentiful and actively crafted. I loved learning about them as we are given bits and pieces as the story progresses.

I did listen to this on audio. Hayden Hall and Walker Williams are my new favorite narrators. They both did an excellent job being their respective characters.

A Couple Made in Hell

I never knew I liked mafia books so much. This is prob only the second one I've ever read in my life and they were both by Brooke Summers. I love how this book started one way. Mekenna seems like she's gonna do as she's told and be a good little mobster's wife. And then BAM, total badass. Maybe I wouldn't like this book as much if I didn't LOVE Makenna's character. She just tickles me. It's like Angelina Joli in Mr. and Mrs. Jones. I am so jealous. I married an Italian, and in my experience, they just yell a lot and throw around their hands. And when they turn 40, they still think they are 22 and wanna jump anyone who pisses them off. But then again, mine isn't mafia. LAME. And that's exactly what I told him. He yelled and threw his hands around. SUPRISE! lol. But I digress.

I am a huge fan of book one! I don't know if when book two finally makes it to audible if it will hold my attention as well as this first one but I am definitely looking forward to giving it a try. Also, I loved BOTH narrators. The accents were FANTASTIC! It totally added so much to the experience. I hope they keep that up throughout the series. But I totally recommend this one! Definitely not something you'd want your kiddies to listen to though. Or like playing real loud in the bathroom while taking a shower and your whole grandma can hear, ya might not wanna do that one either. But it's nothing too crazy.
