I love the dark mystical setting of this book !
I read the touched series several times just for the scene of her being in Hell so when Amore came out with this book it was exactly what I've been craving. Im pretty burnt out on the love sick romances which was how the Touched series was Dark Tournament toned it down with a sweet and bitter romance but also had solo adventures. I hope Amore keeps that up and doesn't start going in the other direction in the books to come. It becomes very repetitive and almost sickening in Gemma and Even's story in her last series. Fingers crossed she keeps this perfect balance she maintained in Dark Tournament. I absolutely LOVE the world she has created in my mind!

So-so
I liked it but on the other hand I didn't. I should have known after reading the Touched series (by the same author) it would have a dark, sometimes sick side to it but I didn't catch it before I bought it. It's difficult to read where a H is forced into sexual acts by women (in this case witches). Loved the humor in it though. Liked how the heroin was kick ass also. But I won't be finishing the ending. Believe it or not it had a pretty good ending and I was sweating bc I didn't think it would but the last fee moments they won and got out of there. Whew!
