Gripping & Heartfelt! Fantastic Story & Listen🎧

A.L. Jackson continues to wow me with another amazing novel set in her fabulous “Time River” series and I loved everything about it, from her impressive writing style to the wonderful characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. The characters are the stars of this book, they are easy to relate to, care about and maybe even fall a little in love with. Ezra Patterson, a widower, single dad of three, and Time River’s sheriff, is great with his young daughter and twin sons, but he is mostly a grump with others. Savannah Ward comes to Time River hoping to find her missing sister and is following leads from a journal she received from an anonymous sender, possibly her sister. In her car staking out a place mentioned in the journal, well, actually just sleeping, someone calls the cops on her because she is on private property. Ezra startles her awake and takes her to the sheriff’s office, but instead of arresting her for trespassing he lets her stay there overnight and tells her there is a job waiting for her at the diner. Since she plans on staying for a while, she takes the job and fits right in there and with the townfolk. Ezra took a liking to her and felt protective of her, even offered her his guest house, which she was hesitant to accept. After an incident at the motel she is staying out, he convinces her to take it. And his kids were darlings, his daughter with her notes just melted my heart. They all welcomed her and were happy to have her around. Savanah is afraid to share the reason she was in Time River for because she was not sure who she could trust. Ezra had his own secrets, a failed marriage and guilt that he could not save his wife, but he vows to find out what really happened to her. I love watching these two dance around each other, the chemistry between them was undeniable and they could only deny it for so long. They had their reasons, but when they finally give in to it, it was magical. When Savannah gets a warning to leave town, she does the opposite, and it gets her in deep trouble, can the hot cop save his little trespasser? This wonderfully plotted story has plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some charming moments to lighten things up, some mystery, twists, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. I loved all the layers and the complexity of the story, and it all played out, especially by the end when all the pieces all fell into place. It was great to see the characters from the earlier books too. A.L. Jackson, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧 📚🎧  Desireè Ketchum and Zachary Webber did an amazing job portraying these characters, giving each their own voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters would sound. Ketchum was fabulous as Savannah, grasping all aspects of her personality, from her vulnerabilities to her strength and all in between, while Webber did the same as Ezra, the overprotective, sometimes broody sheriff. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters and their voices for the children were just adorable. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance enhances this brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen. 

Favorite in this series!!

Ezra and Savannah were everything! Loved this so much. The narrators were amazing as well. The suspense kept me hanging on every page. Read this series. Time River is one of my favorite book small towns!

Small town, romantic suspense with all the close proximity!

3.5 stars. Claim Me Forever is the 3rd book in the Time River series, which I have been loving! This is a small town, single dad, close proximity, romantic suspense. The audiobook is narrated spectacularly by Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum!

Savannah ends up getting arrested for trespassing on private property when the story starts. Ezra is the sheriff in town and feels pulled to wanting to help her right away. He even finds her a place to stay and gets her a job! Ezra is a major cinnamon roll hero who just wants to protect and take care of her.

“Everyone deserves a safe place Savannah. Let me be yours. Even if it’s only for a little while.”

After a few more run-ins and things start happening to her, he asks her to move into the guest house on his property. Ezra is a single dad to his 3 little kiddos and has some hurt from his past he’s still kinda working through. Savannah has secrets as well for why she’s in town and what exactly she keeps get caught trying to look into. These two tortured souls find healing with one another, which was sweet. This one also definitely has a strong romantic suspense element to it! While I didn’t love this one as much as I did the first two in the series, this was still a good addition to the series.

hot and steamy

mystery and romance, I loved it! it'll leave you wanting more. I was left wanting a man like him.

Favorite in this series

Heavy on the romantic suspense. There are two mysteries trying to be solved. I loved the meet cute and the nickname the mmc Sheriff gives the fmc, little trespasser. Their chemistry was fantastic and he was incredibly grumbly.

Audio review: Desiree Ketchum and Zachary Weber were fantastic. They really brought me into the story and allowed me to get lost in the story and want to listen to one more chapter. They’re equally great and changing up their tone and intonation to change up when they are a different character.

Savannah+ Ezra 😍😍😍

Ezra constantly reminds himself of what could have been with his ex-wife and mother of his children because he wasn't there to save her. Savannah is on a mission to find her missing sister, and a clue sent to her anonymously leads her to Time River where she runs into the local Sheriff, Ezra, who takes her in for trespassing. Ezra somehow knows there's more to Savannah and is determined to figure it out.

Once again, the Time River series does not disappoint! After their first meeting, the chemistry that develops between Ezra and Savannah is off the charts. I loved how Ezra took charge from the beginning, getting Savannah lined up with a job interview and place to stay. It's like he already knew he'd have her forever. Savannah and Ezra’s chemistry together is the soonest I've felt from a book in a long time. The end of the book was expected, but there's one thing that was done that I most definitely did not expect and left my jaw on the floor.

Just so so good! No words on how much I loved Ezra & Savannah, plus Ezra's littles-Livy, Owen, & Oliver! Claim Me Forever is book three in the Time River series. Ezra and Savannah get off to a rough start, but the sparks are there right away. His heart is closed off and he only has room for his babies and she's in town to find her sister. She has also been burned by everyone she's ever known. There is no trust in her. Ezra is a single dad to his 3 little kiddos and has some hurt from his past he’s still kind of working through. Just absolutely fell in love with these characters and loved the mixed in suspense with the story.

Absolutely love this audiobook

I couldn’t wait for Ezra’s and he did not disappoint. When Savannah Ward comes to Time River looking for sister, Ezra Patterson didn’t know he would open is heart again to this little “trespasser”. Both Savannah and Ezra have pain for their past and are closed off, neither one expected to find each other. If you love some mystery, suspense, and spice, you are going to love this book. I was fortunate enough to listen to the audiobook. Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum did a phenomenal job. Zachary nailed Ezra’s soft and broom side. And the kids, I didn’t know he was so good at the kid voices. Desiree captured Savannah’s hurt and emotions so well. And together they brought all the steam. Absolutely loved this book and the series. Thank you A.L. Jackson and Valentine PR for this ALC for my honest review.

I loved this story.

My first book by A.L. Jackson. I loved the writing and what a good story. Had me guessing to the very end. Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum narrated. They did a fantastic job. I can't wait to check out the author's other works.
