It IS worth the credit and the narrator IS Not a bad one. Give it a chance!

Great Story

I love the story. All the twists and turns. I do hate how bad Jessica is a horrible judge of character. Doing the job that she does, shouldn’t she be smarter? Having gone through what she has been through, shouldn’t she question every new relationship that forms? She’s so frustrating sometimes but I thoroughly loved the book and I can’t wait for the next one.

P.S.

The narrator is not horrible. Most of the negative reviews are about the narrator and she really grew on me.

Another Great Book By Methos!

Another great book, very suspenseful, great characters and fantastic storyline. Off to search for my next one!

Another good (not great) book in the series!

This is another good listen in the series by Victor Methos. The characters are well developed and you either hate them or love them. Methos has a unique way of making you love the characters you're usually meant to dislike.

I did find this story to be a bit more difficult to follow as the characters and subplots developed. Without spoiling anything, by the time you discover the killer's true identity, you find yourself asking, "Who?!".

The complexity of victims and suspects and relationships to past victims and past crimes starts to become overwhelming.

Overall, if you can make it through the confusion and drowsiness inducing minutia, you'll come away satisfied.

Twists and turns. Hard to put the book down. Keeps you engrossed til the end!

I loved this book. I’ve listened to two of the desert plains series so far and can’t wait to listen to the third. I love the narrator so much. I need more Yardley and Tara!

Good thriller.nice 2nd book

Great read. Nice twist. Nice follow up to the first book. Methos does a nice job cementing the many n characters.

A forgotten part bothered me until late in chapter 68

Feel like the author forgot a key character’s previous destiny and the information that the reader needed was just thrown in there as an oops I forgot.
Other than that I enjoyed the story. I would like to have more Tara present, she is interesting.

Good read

Enjoyed book had me guessing until the end. It wasn’t overly susencfull but I did like it.
