Publisher's summary

Warlocks Augum, Bridget, and Leera are finally able to relax after a grueling ordeal in Bahbell. But their fugitive mentor, the legendary Anna Atticus Stone, tasks them with a dangerous new quest - sneak into an ancient library and research an artifact that could devastate the Legion, and turn the tide in the war.

Their substitute mentor Leopold Harvus, however, is an obsessive and petty man with a distaste for anything untoward, particularly Augum and Leera’s affections for each other. As their studies suffer from his meddling, Harvus finally pushes Augum too far - leading to a brazen act of rebellion that plunges the trio and their quest into mortal peril, for Harvus quickly proves he is not a man to be trifled with.

Starts out bad, But has a good ending

This was my least favorite of the series so far, mostly due to the childish romance portion at the beginning. It took me out of the story and made it hard to really continue. I’m really glad I read the first two and really liked how the story was going and I want to know how it concludes otherwise I would’ve stopped. The ending is really good it’s definitely worth finishing. The narrator is amazing though!

Slow Start But What A Powerful Climax!!!

So, half of this book will drive you mad. Teenage angst propels much of the character developement in the story. The third wheel in the group really has a time of it trying to control the other two emotional teenagers. It is to the point where I felt like an anvil full of "common sense" should have dropped on the lovebirds heads. The action through the book makes up for all of that though. Helps a great deal, to have a tournament arc included. More fantasy novels should have tournaments in them. Plus, those last two final fights make this thw best in the series up to this point!

Mya? Mia?

ONE and only negative this I can say about the READING of the book(s) is that he changes the name mya to Mia in this book when the first 3 books it was Mya. small and insufficient but hard not to notice :) love the books soooooo much.

Just keeps getting better!

This series just gets better every book. I also enjoy the reader more as the books progress. He does a good drop of keeping the same time of voice for main characters!

An excellent story

I loved how the storyline continued in this part of the series. I found myself getting to know the characters even better. Getting upset with their stupid mistakes they made because they are human. My heart raced at the intense parts. All of that means it was easy to really get into this book and imagine the story really happening! I'm extremely happy with this story and author.

Slow start but good in the end

Beginning of the book starts off slow. It seems a bit repetitive with some of the other challenges encountered in the other books where the kids run into a cruel teacher and have to figure out how to get out of the bad situation. Once they Get to the library things pick up and become interesting again over all its good book
