Great listen!
This was a really great book to listen to. This new to me author wrote a good novel of suspense with many twists and turns. Keeps you guessing right until the end to figure out who the mole is and how things happen.

Nice story with a focus on healing--& a great dog!
Hey, the dog always wins me over. I found the story of Juniper and Maya moving as they help each other to heal from their past experiences. Both prove themselves to be both resilient and caring as they work together to find Maya's... Well, I won't spoil the story--! ;) I'm ready to read the next in series!

Great Storyline.
The storyline was great and kept me interested but the narration was not the best. The voice she used was annoying and if the story wasn’t so good I would have stopped listening.

Can't Wait For Next In Series
Loved this story and the authors writing style. I'm partial to stories with working dogs and she was knowledgeable on the subject and also about horses. No eyerolls there. The main character was smart and not always doing dumb things just to add stupid drama. It was a page turner that keeps you on your toes. I liked the narrator more than I thought I would judging from the sample. Can't wait for more in this series!

I like broken people
I’ll be honest, it took me a bit to care even a bit about maya. She’s broken, I get it. But she’s mean and I don’t understand why people care about her at all especially Josh.
I do like broken people and how they mature and grow in their lives. Anyhoo. The story was really good. This is my favorite trope- small town, military or cop characters, suspense, and romance. Sigh. Add a dog and you’re going to get me to listen to every book in the series.
