A little dated in style but material is ageless...

Ok, I agree with some of the reviews---a little corny. But actually, this style is undergoing a revival so don't dismiss it too quickly---ala Mad Men?

I got a lot from this book. I needed to learn to shut the hell up and not talk so much. Make the point and shut up.

The book helped me with that. Buy it.

Short and to the point.

45 minutes long and I've listened to it 3 or 4 times. Excellent tool to improve your communication.

This is a must have, for any powerful communicator

I've likely had this book for 25 years. It's allowed me to put things in: "...terms so plain and firm as to command their assent..." -TJ

Not a page by page reading

This is a weird abridged version of the audiobook, which was not made clear when I purchased this. It doesn't have all the chapters or content of the original.

I learned nothing new.

I recommend books from Tony Robbins or John Maxwell instead, or even How to Win Friends by Dale Carnegie.
Wasted an hour and money.

This is not the Audiobook!

I purchased this audiobook and companion to the actual book because in my reading practice I like to follow along my read with the physical book as well as listening. To my surprise this is not the audiobook version of the book.

So extremely frustrating they just grab glimpses of the book and you have to constantly be jumping from page to page without knowing exactly where to go. Extremely confusing and obviously leading to not grasping the concept of what is being taught.

Very misleading

A bit fast paced.

Nice book with a nice message, but a bit rushed I think, at times the voices were talking a bit fast for me. An educational book shouldn’t be rushed, but take time to walk you through it. Otherwise seems like a nice book, though even the audible membership price is a bit steep for the length of the book.

great read

This is a well-written, straight to the point summary on how to get your point across and it gave relevant examples to prove the point. It was a great read. Short and easy.
