Out dated in many places, lot of impractical advise, many things don't make any sense.
Some tactical advise is OK but that's a google search away.
Very relevant marketing ideas for today's small businesses. I typically listen to audio books during my commute but I found myself wanting to take notes while listening to this book. I will probably listen to this book again for follow up.

John seems like one of the traditional businessmen that embraced change and came out way ahead because of it. There are a couple of small resources that are a little out of date but, overall, it's a great book.

This is a great book for anyone who owns a small business. It should be required reading before you incorporate. It is very complete and yet very easy to digest and very practical. Full of value.

Im seeking great information, and deep insights, this book had neither. I will likely stay away from marketing help books.
He needs to take narration lessons, and the staff who directed him needs to have their pay cut by 1/2.
The who thing is not worth the paper / time. The author is our for only one thing, getting paid.

It made me hyperventilate discovering all of the options out there. I had to listen twice just to be able to make notes on the plethora of sites and services that await out there.
MUST READ for anyone that is tired of playing by the big guys rules but creative and energetic enough to write and pursue their own. It's doable...
One of the best marketing books I have read (listened). As a commercial real estate agent and business broker I would not hesitate in recommending this book to anyone of my (business owner) clients.
If you are starting or looking to improving your business sales with only one book you cant go too wrong with this one.

Nope! This book needs to be digested and applied in bite sized pieces. It is that rich with content.
