I spent most of my life trying to get by with whatever happiness I could, that included alcohol, food, and porn. My death was unpleasant and humiliating. However, death is something we all need to go through. A bit like a proctology exam: necessary, but never anything one wants to go through while it's happening. However, death was supposed to be the end of it. Either way, the pain, suffering, and failures were supposed to be over. No, I ended up as a small stone, strapped to a table, while a pimple-faced teenager rubbed my facets and told me how "lovely" I was.

This Universe is interesting.
This is an interesting take on LitRPG or a system universe, however you prefer to think of it.
I highly recommend it, and I hope more books are written in this universe.

If you like the Defiance of the Fall, you will love this too
Highly entertaining story. Most importantly, the MC is not stupid. I have returned many audiobooks because I couldn’t stomach the plot holes, ridiculous plot armor, and indecisive protagonists that plague this genre of fantasy. The narration is great too. I can’t wait for the 2nd book.

Good but has pacing issues
Just jumps from one fight to another without a real driving force. Fights just run together without much of a reason for them other than MC walks into them. VA was great.
