Publisher's summary

We're known for our savagery. We run New York City. We control every inch of it, and anyone that gets in our way is executed.

I protect the people from con artists and thugs like the cartel. But I'm not a good guy. I loathe thinking of myself as a vigilante. And did I mention that my little sister tried to put me behind bars?

When a young woman's car breaks down in the rain, I'm feeling overly generous. I recognize her, she's a nurse from Steele Concierge Medical, at least that's what she wants me to believe. I bring her into my compound to protect her during the storm. But she betrays me. Turns out that she's FBI, working undercover, and intends on destroying the Bratva from the inside. Now that I know the truth, who will protect her from me?

Brutal Boss is a steamy enemies-to-lovers Russian mafia romance. It can be listened to as a stand-alone novel. The Bratva Brothers were previously introduced in Ruthless Vow (Mafia Marriages, Book Five). It is not required that you have listened to Ruthless Vow before listening to any of the Bratva Brothers series books.

No cheating. No cliff-hanger. Happily-ever-after ending.

Fantastic

I remember leaving a review for the previous book saying that a certain person was going to get his own story, but he was so unlikable that I wondered how Willow was going to change my mind about him. Well, she managed to do just that. Mikhail turned out to be a kind person, although he was still pretty brutal, but he wasn’t very violent in this book. I really liked Madisyn. She knew from the very beginning what kind of person Mikhail was and she did not cower down to him one bit. It was kind of humorous because he wasn’t used to people talking to him that way. She was spunky, independent, and strong without being obnoxious about it.

Willow’s stories just keep getting better and better. There hasn’t been one book in any of her series that I have not enjoyed. I love her knowledge of the mafia world. I know in real life it would be really scary having someone kidnap you and take you home with them, but in the book world it’s pretty fascinating and I want to be the female character. 🤣 To top it all off, I found out that Luka is going to get his own story!!! That book can’t come any sooner!

Ash Beverly did a fantastic job narrating this book. His Russian accent was spot on, and he made me laugh when he voiced Mikhail He didn’t even sound badly when he was doing a female voice. I’m so happy that Willow has finally found somebody to do her books justice.
