Love the story so far

I love this story so far I am only at chapter 25 I have the audio and the kindle so I’m switching between the two SO with that being said I noticed the audio is missing Ezryn’s chapters so far. I can’t wait to see how this goes!

So good

I came across this book recommendation on the author's Tik Tok and went in blind, without reading the description or reviews. I'm sort of glad I did because I didn't realize it was a retelling and it was so fun to be like "...Wait but... wait. That's familiar." for the first few chapters before I was sure it was a retelling. Haha. My only regret is listening to this before the second book is out because I am itching to keep reading! I highly recommend picking up this book, it's spicy and fun, and the author did an amazing job painting a picture of the FMC that was decidedly not your typical default. She is curvy and witty and I love her. Though she can be a bit whiny, who isn't?

Interesting

I enjoy retellings, fae, and rh. This was a no brainer to try with its combo of all three. It wasn’t a perfect story but I am eager to see where the authors take it.

Cute and slightly predictable

It’s not groundbreaking but I really enjoyed it. The visuals of everything are really nice and very well written. I’m excited to read the next book and am glad the third was just recently released!

Familiar comfort with spice, depth, & suspense.

I’m a big fan of reimagined classic fairytales. I went into the he story thinking I know how this was going to go maybe with a little spice & intensity added in. I was shook more and more as the story progressed. So much character depth, delicious spice, emotional investment, & a plot that’s getting thicker and thicker. I absolutely cannot wait for the next audiobook to be released. I’m dying to know!!!!!

The men

This is way better than acotar. This is how a retelling of beauty and the best should be. Though The very graphic gay sex chapter I skipped through. I’m down for the spicy I just wasn’t expecting it between men lmao.

If you like slow-burn, why choose, and fated fae mates then this is your book! ACOTAR was the last book series that caught me in and this one has done the same!! Woven by Gold is just as enthralling. Absolutely can’t wait for December for Forged by Malice.

Amazing Re-Telling

This series is my absolute favorite Beauty and the Beast retelling. Robert does a wonderful job of portraying the 4 princes and giving good variety to their voices. Elizabeth Helen wrote a wonderful story and I love all 3 books already released in this series. Having the 4 different seasons/realms in one castle makes for such good imagery and being able to transport yourself while reading.
