Publisher's summary

A past that can’t be changed. A future as uncertain as their relationship....

Willow Foster has been a single mother for most of her young daughter’s life, ever since the girl’s father—a man Willow thought she’d be with forever—inexplicably disappeared. Now, just as mysteriously, he’s back, living in Cradle Mountain, Idaho. Blake has always been her weakness, and while she’s no longer willing to risk her heart, Willow relocates so her daughter can build a relationship with the father she barely knows.

She can only pray she doesn’t lose part of herself in the process.

Blake Cross’s life changed for the better when he learned he was having a daughter. Then, two years later, it changed for the worse when he was kidnapped and separated from his family. Finally free, his priority is his family. Blake may no longer own his wife's heart, but he still cares deeply for Willow. He can’t change their past, but he can promise a better future.

Or can he? When Willow’s life is threatened on more than one occasion, both their futures are a lot less certain, forcing Blake to risk everything to protect the mother of his child—and the woman he never stopped loving.

Blake, Willow & Milah!

Blake and Willow! There have been hints and sightings of these two in the other books, but they are just parenting Milah, their daughter together. Married at a young age, these two have loved each other forever, but with Blake's missions and Willow home alone, she no longer wanted to deal with it. At that time, there was more going on than was said, and their relationship dwindled. But now things are getting back on track. Slowly but surely, they are rebuilding, just in time for danger to come for Willow and Milah. Will Blake be able to keep them safe? Talk about escaping into a story! I was completely enveloped into this plot, Meeting Jackson is a huge plus and I can't wait to know more about him. The resiliency of Milah is beyond measure and the way this team pulls together is incredible. I am forever a fan of Nyssa Kathryn!

Then, Kathryn has Joe Arden and Callie Dalton reading me this book! How can it get better? This team is beyond compare. Arden is phenomenal as Blake. Very alpha, yet holds his feelings just close enough for me to feel them. Dalton shows a strength in Milah and Willow that is amazing. The suspense is high and the emotions too and these two made it real. Get this series!!

Loved Blake’s story

have been waiting to hear Blake’s story since he and his family were mentioned in the first book. This book did not disappoint. I was glad to see Blake and Willow find their way back to each other.
Since this is a Blue Halo book you know there are going to be some outside threats and this one had two, one of which I did not see coming.
This is the first audiobook I’ve listened to by Callie Dalton and I think she did a fantastic job. I loved the way she and Joe Arden both narrated Mila. Joe’s narration was superb as always.

Second Chances!!!

My heart broke for Willow and Blake and the years that they lost together. PPD is hard and when you add being married and a baby on top of a military life, it can be crippling and that is what happened.
Willow felt alone for so long and Blake didn't know how to help her. Willow couldn't take the chance of allowing her heart to be open to loving him after the pain of loss before but Blake wasn't giving up. Blake wanted the family they had before he was taken and he was determined to fight for it. Lucky for Willow that he didn't give up!

This series is great and now I am waiting for the next one!

Blake & Willow's Story is AWESOME

This is the 3rd Book in the Blue Halo Series & it's my Absolute Favorite (so far). Books 1 & 2 had me irritated with Willow; however, Book 3 explained why she is the way she is & I now understand & appreciate her!! I absolutely love the way Blake & Willow love each other & their daughter Mila! The Narrator's did a fantastic job conveying the emotions needed for this story!

Gripping

This was an entertaining romantic suspense story that ticked all the boxes for me. Well written, the narration was good and the narrators, and   were easy to listen to. From the first chapter I was hooked on the story that was told. There were equal amounts of romance and suspense which was entertaining. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them

Great story about real issues

Best of the series yet! I really enjoyed this book because it deals with a real couple facing real relationship issues. Trust issues, post partum depression, the cutest kid ever all combined to make a great story. Even in fiction, it's great when the characters have to deal with real issues. The duel "bad guys" kept me guessing. I loved this couple. The audio was fantastic. Joe Arden could read me the phone book and Callie Dalton did a great job. Highly recommend!

The best yet…

This was the best book so far. I loved Blake and Willow’s story and that there is a history with them and that they work through their problems and Blake never gives up and Willow starts to let him back in.

Willow is trying to make the best life for her and Mila and wants Blake to be there for their daughter but keeps him at arms length. Their history makes it hard for her to trust Blake and other people.

As the book progresses and Blake and Willow get closer the threats start to get too close to home and Blake goes into protector mode. It is sweet and sexy.

Mila is freaking adorable and I love that she is smart, independent, but loving, and funny.

Callie and Joe did an amazing job although I could listen to Joe read a book about tax law and still love it. His little kid voice is perfect.

I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series and who will be narrating. The writing and narration in this series has been top notch.

Blake

This is the third book in the Blue Halo series. Blake and Willow were childhood sweethearts. They both had absentee parents. They got married and had their daughter Milah. Poor Willow was a young mom and was suffering Postpartum Depression and didn’t know the first few years of motherhood. Blake was just establishing himself as a SEAL. He was around much to help. He also didn’t recognize the signs of postpartum depression Willow was going through. Then Blake and his team were taken and held for 2 years. Now that Blake is back home he wants nothing more then to rekindle his relationship with Willow. They both have changed and have to work through past traumas. I have really been enjoying this series along with Project Arma series. Callie Dalton and Joe Arden both did a great job narrating.

Blake & Willow's Story

This is a "love for the ages" story as Blake and Willow were a couple forever. But then Project Arma stole him away and now they're playing catch up with their relationship and parenting their precious daughter, Mila. But as usual, someone wants to destroy their peace and happiness.....Blake and his Blue Halo team aren't about to let that happen. Don't miss this sweet addition to the wonderful Blue Halo series!

Loved It!

I thoroughly enjoyed Blake, book three of the Blue Halo Series by Nyssa Kathryn. From the first scene I had to know where this story was going to take me!

I don’t want to give anything away with this one. Willow and Blake have a history together which they are trying to work through. Can Blake find a balance between duty to his SEAL team and his dedication to protecting his family?

Mila steals the show and is adorable. The relationship between Mila and Blake is full of love and admiration for each other.

I always love to catch-up with the supporting characters from the previous books, a reunion of sorts.

Happiness, humour, sweet, sexy and tense moments. This book has it all.

Callie Dalton’s performance as Willow is so good, and I loved her portrayal of Mila too. I held my breath a couple times!!

Joe Arden, what can I say! Perfect as Blake. Once again I was so engrossed in the story it was over too soon.

Highly recommend Blake and the Blue Halo series by Nyssa Kathryn.
