Unique Story Line

Thoughtfully written characters & well-crafted story
I wasn’t sure what to expect here but dove in. As I have 3 sisters and a half sister, I can say the author accurately depicts the complexity of sisterhood. This is a story about women and family more than a disappearance mystery. I enjoyed all of it even the difficult bits. Highly recommend.

Loved it!!
I have read/listened to all but two of Anni Taylor’s books and have loved all of them, but this one really kept my attention till the very end.
I am both very happy to find out what happened, but also very sad that the book has come to an end.
I love her attention to detail; both with characters as well as all the locations/settings. It’s almost like I’m watching a movie. She creates believable characters that you end up feeling like you know them from somewhere.
Her books make me want to visit Australia someday!!

Great story line
This is the first book I’ve listened to by this writer. Great book. I was surprised by the ending and the narration was very good. I’ll look for her books again.

Lovely, Harrowing, Interesting…..
What a gut-punch of a story! Unpredictable plot line as well. I will definitely be looking to read more work from this author as this story was nuanced, the characters sympathetic & well-developed, the villain(s) tough to identify, the setting varied & beautiful, the ending poignant & fitting….a five star novel all around.
