Another LJ Shen masterpiece

It’s awe inspiring that how many stories she writes become so alive in my head. Bad Cruz is hilarious, a bit gritty, and has all the facets of small town life that make the story relatable with touches of hotty-ness too. Narrated so well, also. I listened to this in less than 24 hrs because I wanted to know how it ended!

WOW!!!!!

Please don’t judge the book by it’s cover!!!! I had this in my library for a month n kept passing by it because of the boring cover…. N I just wanted to say “WOW”… my kids were making fun of me because I was laughing and crying out of nowhere… Sebastian was awesome as usual… Lauren was ok, not one of my favorites though. Definitely recommend it!!!

At first I thought it was going to be a dud but the more I listened the better it got and I was sad when it was over, a great funny story

Bad Cruz

Tennessee a somewhat young single mom. Going on a cruise with family and family friends. Dr. Cruz a good man who doesn’t attract bad things. She on the other things seems to attract them like a moth to a flame. I love listening to narrators bring the characters to life.

Funny and adorable

I almost gave up a few minutes into the first chapter because the female narrator was way over the top. However, I got used to her voice and I even enjoyed it for Tennessee’s character. I listened to this book in less than 24 hours. I’m getting too old to stay up until 4am listening to an audiobook, but I couldn’t help myself. Definitely worth the credit.

Another amazing book

I’m a sucker for all LJ Shen books! I’ve read everyone she’s written and loved this one! Can’t wait for the next one

Unexpected

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this story based on the description. I’m a huge LJ Shen fan and was hoping of a strong-willed heroine. It was frustrating to have the main character be such a pushover. I liked the angst and thought the entire cruise scene was hilarious, but I felt that certain parts of the abuse from her family was cringey. Love the ending that everything worked out, but it would have been nice if Tennessee had established herself as an independent woman prior to groveling. Overall, love LJ Shen and this was a great angsty story.

I liked it for a change

I Love LJ Shen and have read and listened tj everyone of her books. This is definitely not her usual.
Premise: Teen Mom grows up being treated poorly by everyone. Gets stuck with Town Heart Throb and she has to make a decision to be what everyone expects or be herself. it has a lot of funny moments that I laughed, several sad moments. I did find the female lead annoying at times especially with her "cursing". I really did like seeing her grow from a teenager to a woman.

I loved SebYo as usual. He is one of my top 5 male narrators. This is my first time listening to Lauren Ezzo so I am not sure it was her or the southern accent she was trying but it took several chapters of toughing it out before I adapted to her speech. I wasn't a fan in this book.

I f you can get by the first few chapters it is worth the listen.

Vest story ever enjoyed from beginning to the end. my favorite part was hearing Sabastin York thank you for a intertaion story will definitely liston to another story
