Sumptuous, atmospheric, a really bewitching read!
My husband and I listened to this book together and both loved it! The female and male leads are daring, intelligent, and beautifully kind though their cruel world tries to demand otherwise. The world is fascinating. The pacing of the story keeps you on edge, wondering with the characters what mysteries are unfolding (but maintains an easy-to-follow-along simplicity). We would definitely recommend it!

Excellent story
Fantasy is not my go-to genre but thought I’d give it a try. I was transported into a magical world of witches (the good kind) and other fantastical characters. Thoroughly enjoyed and ready to read the next in the series. Kudos to JL Vampa’s creativity and ability to weave such a special story.

A gripping tale from start to finish
I have found my new favorite author! Autumn of the Grimoire is page turning tale that keeps you locked in your seat from the very beginning. I found myself falling in love with the characters and their plights. The main character Agatha, is truly a force to be reckoned with. If you love magic, mystery and adventure this is the tale for you. I can’t wait for book 2 to come out!

One of my fave listens so far this year!
Love the mixing of different fantasy archetypes! Witches, Gods, myths, prophecies, monarchies…and of course societal wrongs to be righted in the battle of good vs. evil (both ancient and current.) Nothing earth-shatteringly “brand new” in theory; but I found the material refreshingly creative and not overly obvious. The story was extremely well written and intriguing. I can’t wait for the next one!
