Nice explanation

The traits, solutions, and many other things about Asperger's Syndrome are well explained in this book. Ava Holgreen, apparently, has some experience with people who have Asperger's Syndrome herself. You can tell from what she writes.

Ironically, there is a girl on the cover of the book. And yes, girls can have it too, but the likelihood is so much higher in boys. So this was a bit of a controversial choice for the cover.

Another comment: I love that some of the positive aspects of the disorder are also highlighted. This is a refreshing perspective that sheds light on the purpose of these kinds of disorders. We always view people who have this as handicapped, but even if they are, in some way, it is our job to bring those hidden talents with that hyper focus and tunnel vision to the surface, so they can do the kinds of jobs suitable for loners and technical people. Not everybody has to have excellent social skills to make society function properly. Thanks.

Good concepts

This book presents the idea that those who have asperger's , or autism for that matter, are prone to lack social skills but have a lot of skills with a hyperfocus on certain talents they possess. I always knew about this, but this confirmed that idea, and gave some other information as well.

Very good

Despite of the author's knowledge about the theme, the storyteller was still the component I was most pleased with. This is what truly sold me on the book.
