Publisher's summary

Seth Grahame-Smith delivers the definitive, essential guide to making it through a horror movie in one piece. As hilarious as it is useful (if you’re trapped in a scary flick, that is), How to Survive a Horror Movie covers all the bases. Trapped in a haunted house? Check. Stalked by an evil doll? Check. Wandering aimlessly through the remains of the old world as a plague of zombies sweeps over the planet? Check. Grahame-Smith's delightfully gruesome guide is just the thing for horror buffs and anyone who has ever watched a scary movie.

Funny

This was a humorous book. At times I laughed out loud and other times I became bored. Over all it was funny and a little bit predictable. I recommend it for a time killing laugh.

lists: 10 reasons why they ruined the book

not a terrible book, but reads more like an online comedy article than a book.

Great way to prepare for Halloween.

Any additional comments?

Fun little listen. Good reference for the next time I might find myself in a low budget horror movie. As a middle aged woman, my odds are good to not be the prime target unless the main character is my son.

Entertaining.

Great for a long drive, and for those that love horror movies. So many Easter eggs, and a blast to figure out which movies he refers.

Just some silly fun

This book sums up everything you say to the screen when people get themselves into terror movies. Fun to listen to and you hear yourself agreeing with Seth Grahame-Smith with his advice.

Ready for my closeup Mr. De-Graham-Smith

Great read. Very funny, educational, well-researched. I appreciate the author's use of movie quotes to support his hypothesis. Thoroughly enjoyed the book.
Johnny Heller is one of my favorite narrators - excellent job.
