Enjoyed this...
Narrator was excellent. This is my first time trying out the genre. There were parts where it was gory but I pushed through. It was as if I was watching an action movie. I immediately purchased the 2nd book. I definitely recommend this book.

Interesting enough to listen to book 2
It wasn’t bad just had some holes. Overall interesting enough to get through it and want to try book 2. I would say the two main problems is the time jumping around made no sense. With multiple stories being told one in a constant time and the other skipping days felt so off. The other main issue was a lot of characters seemed so one dimensional. But over good idea

Book was good. Reader, not so much.
Book had a good plot, LOTS of imagination. Really gory, which doesn’t bother me (I’m an RN). I’d like to read the sequel, but not sure I will if it’s the same narrator. He read in sort of a rhythm, and his voice accented the last word in every sentence. For instance, “The cave was very DARK. He couldn’t see, but there was a terrible SMELL. The creature was very HIDEOUS. He ran for his LIFE. He was carrying his DOG.” And on and on for every single sentence in the book.
