Jack Porter is a great author and always delivers a fun story. First off the cover art is to die for. The story didn't disappoint either. The narration team was super good. Hopefully there is a book 2!

Arcane Academy for the Gifted" by Jack Porter, narrated by TJ McKenzie and Melanie Hastings, is a captivating fantasy novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With a unique and intriguing plot, the story follows a hero who comes back to life after killing a monster and gains magical powers. As he navigates his new life at the Arcane Academy for the Gifted, he must also figure out who is sending monsters after him. This book has a great blend of slice-of-life moments and action, and the narrators do an excellent job of bringing the story to life. Overall, if you're looking for a fun and exciting fantasy audiobook, "Arcane Academy for the Gifted" is definitely worth purchasing.

Really good book 1
This was a really good start to this series. I really enjoy story of this genre and theme and I think this story was very well thought out and written. Very excited for the next book in the series. I think there is alot of room and direction for this story to go.
The narration by TJ McKenzie and Melanie Hastings was really good.

Talk about being pleasantly surprised!
The best part of this book, at least for me, is the magical learning and theory crafting. For me, it's like base building, where there is not cheating but definitive steps to progress. Jack Porter balances the story and the spice really well with not too much or too little of either. The narrators are also in balance with the personalities of the characters. So far, everyone has a unique voice which just ads to the enjoyment of this audio,
