Publisher's summary

The third novel in USA Today bestselling author Penelope Bloom's Anyone But...series sizzles with a sexy and hilarious story about letting go of the past to chase the love of a lifetime.

Seven years ago, I swore I'd never date Nick King. Ever.

Now I'm supposed to work under him - and no, despite the way he glares like he wants to strip me bare, I mean he'll be my boss. But what better way to prove I'm really over him, right?

I was a nerdy overachiever in high school, and Nick was my hopeless crush. I even laminated a note he passed to me; granted, I had a thing for laminators, but that's beside the point.

Now, my only shot at getting my life back on track is to crawl to him on my knees and pray I nail the interview. Maybe I should pray that's the only thing that gets nailed in his office - especially since he looks like he wants to devour me.

Nick broke my heart once. But hey, I'm still pretty handy with a laminator. Maybe I could run my heart through one before I take this job.

Anyone But Nick

This is the final book in this trilogy and finally Nick and Miranda get together. This is an enemies to lovers. Nick is the studious one and with the acquiring of the newest company one of the first interviews is for vice president and it turns out to be Miranda. Oh, this got interesting real fast. What started as a misunderstanding back in high school and vowing to hate the King brothers forever, her friends have given up and are with the other two brothers and Miranda is the only one holding out...but for how long. These two have such chemistry and when they are together there is something in the air and they banter back and forth until they finally figure out there is more heat behind the banter. This one was so good and wrapped up the trilogy wonderfully!

Anyone But Nick

This is the third book in the Anyone But series. I read the first two and really enjoyed them so I was excited for Nick's story. This story features Nick and Meredith. It is told in duel point of view which is one of my favorite writing styles. I like knowing what each character is thinking.

Meredith and Nick knew each other in high school. Meredith had a crush on Nick and left him a poem, but he thought it was from someone else and ended up dating her. This upset Meredith and her friends decided to make an oath not to ever date one of the brothers. Nick and his two brothers Rich and Cade. The first two books are Rich and Cade's story.

This story takes place 7 years later. Nick is back and is helping a struggling company and Meredith just broke up with her boyfriend and lost her job. She went in for an interview not realizing Nick was there. Now working for Nick feelings come back between the two. Nick has feelings for Meredith, but feels she will be better without him. Meredith still has feelings for Nick.

I love how Nick and Meredith had a chance to grow and build their relationship in this book and how his brothers and her friends had an active role in this book.

I really enjoyed this series!

Anyone but Nick

I really enjoyed this story. I was laughing all though out the book. Cade steals the show. The narrator's did a fabulous job too.

You will LOL on this one!

Sweet and funny! Miranda had a crush on Nick...until he dated her bff! Then she joined her bffs in an oath to never date a King brother. 7 yrs later and she finds herself working for Nick King...and insanely attracted to him. Will she break the oath? Nick had mistakenly believed that Kira had sent him a poem and asked her out...and lost Miranda. Now he has the opportunity to get to know the grown ip Miranda...will love win the 2nd time around? Nick’s brother, Cade, provides lots of entertainment with his goofy musings and there is some ex drama. Overall a good story.

the perfect story to wrap up a series

this has been the perfect book to wrap up this series and the epilogue at the end covered all three couples so you don't miss anything.

Great ending for this trilogy!

This was such a great trio of books, and this books perfectly finished up the set. Nick and Miranda's story was a nice change to the typical office romance trope. Though anytime Cade was in a scene he completely stole focus, that guy is hilarious you just have to love him. Also, the whole watermelon festival had me literally laughing out loud.
The narrators, especially Tim Paige, did an exceptional job bringing the story and characters to life as well.

Ok

Nick’s and Miranda’s story was most boring piece of the trilogy for me. I really loved the first book, enjoyed the goofy second book but in this book, I was bored many times. I didn’t feel the chemistry. Best parts were almost Cade and Iris bits. 😂 But this said, it still was nice to get conclution to this series.

Nice listen

This was a nice sloow burn past crush office romance. The super stoic boss and the desperate for work h, resolving herself to work under a man who broke her heart (it's in the summary).
