Another Great Allen Carr method

As someone who utilized this author’s books to stop smoking and drinking, I have zero reasons to think this won’t be effective. The narration is great but the content is better. If you, in any way, identify as a person with an unhealthy relationship with eating, try it.

Great content. Misophonia warning.

Allen Carr's content is reliably helpful.

The narrator has a great voice, but if you suffer from misophonia, you may find her mouth sounds difficult and triggering.

I almost had to stop listening, but I valued the content enough to push through. Definitely had to fight the misophonia anger reaction, though.

Very helpful

First of all, the review that I saw here makes me believe that the reviewer was having a rather cranky day.

I have been battling emotional eating for over 39 years. I have done tons of self help books and programs. You would think by now, that I've heard it all. This book helped me greatly and has reminded me of great things that I need to constantly remember to stay well. Read it and re-read it as much as you can

Freedom

I literally love this author. Thanks to his teachings on how addictions work I stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and emotional eating. I read the specific books for each addiction.
I’m so grateful and thankful because I can maximize my life and live it at the full potential!

My 5th Easy Way Book

I’ve used Allen Carr’s Easy Way books to quit drinking alcohol, coffee, eating sugar, and now empty carbs and junk food in general. It really works. I’m also in the middle of the Smart Phone Dumb Phone book. If you ever felt annoyed by food cravings or that processed food had some mysterious allure or hold on you, read this book. It’s really that easy to be free of the desire to eat what is essentially fake food and enjoy real food again.

Great book if its your first one

I believe that this book could be super helpful to many people, just like “easy way to quit smoking” was helpful to me. What I didn’t expect is for these two books to be quite so similar. Some concepts were even phrased exactly the same with words switched, e.g. eating vs smoking, food vs nicotine. I don’t regret listening to it though, because every bit of advise helps and yes, same principles can be applied to different types of addiction.

Changing Hearts and Lives

My mom recommended this book to me, and I’ve gotten 2 others to start reading it as well. This book has changed me down to the very core. I’m no longer a slave to the food around me or anything else! I’ve lost 20 pounds without even trying, and my mom has lost closer to 50. (Apart from reading the book). There was no calorie counting, no carb tracking, no 30 day challenge.. no magic supplement, etc!
Also, (not exactly proud of this) but I have not been exercising at all either, I have EDS and it’s semi dangerous for me to be very physically active without a physical therapist there to watch and correct me so I don’t dislocate all my joints . But anyways, it works and you don’t have to hit the gym, although I’m sure it would only improve your results if you did.
Anyways, simply don’t eat junk, and only eat when you’re truly feeling hunger.
