Unique Take on Sherlock Holmes!

I really enjoyed this entertaining take on Sherlock Holmes. It's original, steamy, and has great world-building. The characters and plot drew me right in! There's a paranormal element to the story, and listening to it just before Halloween gave me all the spooky vibes. I wish this series got more love so that it was complete on audiobook, but I still enjoyed devouring the rest of it on ebook! If you're looking for a page-turner with action, adventure, mystery, and steam—you're in the right place!

I own the e books and loved them!!😍 well written and a different take on Moriarty! I love Eva's choice on narrators as well they do an amazing job!

Incredible!

I love when an author has us rooting for the "bad" person because it's so different from the norm and it's cool to see from the other side. This book has characters that we're familiar with but she still puts her own spin on them. The heroine's brilliance is jaw dropping and she's always 10 steps ahead. Very interesting throwing in the supernatural as well. This book keeps you on your toes and has everything you could want, including multiple steamy scenes. The epilogue was brilliant and now I am off to find book 2!! Both narrators were new to me but they did an excellent job fitting the characters and bringing this incredible world to life.

Pleasantly surprised by this story

Never expected a retelling of a Sherlock Holmes story with a RH setting! This was quite a pleasant surprise and an enjoyable read. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This duo of narrators did a great job bringing life to this story. I would gladly listen to more books narrated by them.

Wonderful reading of this incredible story!!!

This was the Audiobook of A Study in Seduction by Eva Chase. The story took a unique twist on Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, Garrett Lestrade, and Professor Moriarty (a woman!). It places them in today’s world and, along with the usual sinister felons, puts them amidst unholy demonic creatures out to steal souls. Jemma Moriarty must use the three greatest sleuths known to help her (without their knowledge). She cons them. She will use any and all means necessary to achieve her desired goal. Her soul.

I had already read the book and was curious to see how the narrators interpreted what I had already read. What a
WONDERFUL interpretation these two narrators provided!! Summer Roberts provided the narration from Jemma’s perspective of events, while Tyler Donne provided it for all of the male characters. They did a fabulous job, especially Tyler!!! Both used different ‘voices’ when speaking for each character, making it easy to keep everyone straight! I thoroughly enjoyed this Audiobook!!

Wow!!! Eva Chase’s A Study in Seduction was a wonderfully woven, intricate, and thought-provoking ride with characters that I didn’t want to LOVE!!! I mean, how can you successfully change these well-known and beloved characters….but, somehow…..SHE DID IT!!!!! I absolutely loved reading this enchanting, tense, and captivating story!!! I can’t wait for more from Eva Chase!!!!!

Great Narration.

I liked the story. It drew me in at the beginning and held me captive at the end but the middle was slightly boring and drawn out. almost too many small details I guess. im intrigued enough to where ill listen to the second eventually but I think that's mainly because I enjoy Sherlock stories so much.

New twist

This story had me from the very beginning. Loved Jemma. She is beautiful, smart and mysterious. Eva did a good job weaving this new take on the popular investigators. Can’t wait to see what happens when they all meet up again. The narration was excellent. I felt both captured the characters perfectly. I was given a free copy of this audiobook and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

Really good

I really like how Jemma cons the trio into doing what she needs. The part with Sherlock and John was full on angsty and I’m here for it.
The narrators did a great job.

A Modern Take

This was a modern take on a Sherlock Holmes mystery that was soley engineered by the female villain. This was well plotted out and executed with attention to even the tiniest of detail.  While I find Jemma brilliant and deeply driven, she is not the most likable MC ever. But... She has had to be tough to stay one step ahead of her greatest foe. She has a reason to lie and skew things into her favor. Her henchman is extremely interesting and entertaining and I am so glad that he exists as he adds such a beautiful and human element to Jemma's world. This author's versions of Sherlock, John and Garrett are intriguing. We saw some jealousy and how using that can drive each of the men just a tad. I am not a fan at all of M/M action. This was not the cringiest scene written, but it does lead to the imagination of just what Ms. Chase may have in store for this series. I loved how this concluded! The game is very truly afoot!
