Too Long

A road trip is a good way to get to know a person. This road trip was an opportunity to do that and to have an adventure. Unfortunately, we learned that Brennan and Helena were a bit boring as was the story. The plot, girl elopes and Brennan and Helena give chase, while discovering sex and their feelings for each other. Had the story been shorter with more action/conflict my interest would have been held however this was not the case and I had to force myself to finish the book. The narration was tolerable except Helena’s voice was too soft and “girlish.” I am recommending this book with reservations: 1. Don’t expect a lot of action 2. Do expect much repetitive inner dialogue 3. Do expect a young character who assists them (as is the case in the many of the author’s stories) and 4. Expect a predictable/boring ending. Apologies if I have gotten the main characters names wrong😑

Love on the road

I love road trip love stories, there’s always this “is he/she only with me because I’m convenient” question that gets asked and I enjoy finding out how it’s NOT just about convenience. This story was really good but I did get a bit tired of their early bickering and Brennan’s later “my baggage makes me not good enough and I slept with her but now I revoke my marriage proposal” but otherwise I enjoyed the story a lot. The narration was good EXCEPT for Helena’s voice which was very high and annoying.

Sexy and Sweet

Sabrina Jeffries has done it again! I adore these characters! A tough woman who doesn’t trust men and a man who women can’t resist, not exactly an easy match. Ms. Jeffries knows how to bring improbable characters together and make us believe in possibilities!

save yourself from this nightmare of a train wreck

Massive major warning ⚠️ don't do this to yourself im utterly shocked by just how unbelievably horrific this mess is its such a shame and shock because im A lover of Sabrina Jeffries writing style seriously i had not idea not a freaking inkling of just how bad this entire production ended up being the narrator is absolutely awful at least a terrible sorta fit for this story shes slow and she drags not surprisingly she drags more then the actual story and it became annoying within the first 5pages I swear it to you that this is a mistake avoid with all haste ,run run run and save yourself from this nightmare train wreck!!!!!!!
