I am Father, a patient man, but sometimes pushed to the limit by Hermie’s little ways. Hermie is my little miniature Schnauzer, who has a mind of his own. He is the cutest little dog, but has very strong opinions of what should be done and when!

Hermie strikes again, this time, trying to save Freedom the dolphin that has been released into the waters around Looe, after he gets himself into trouble in a fishing net! Father is, of course, there, right beside Hermie, also trying to save the day! What will happen to the dolphin? Will Hermie be okay after being thrown into the wild waves around Looe Island? Who's responsible for all the netting and plastic waste?

In this book, Hermie the Miniature Schnauzer is determined to help save his local chapel in Polperro, Cornwall from having to close due to lack of funds. To make matters worse, it also needs a new roof. All the local choirs come together with the local dogs to perform in a big concert to help save the day.
