The Pink Pistol is a story that evolved from a contest by Outlaws Publishing LLC. In January 2017, a call went out for wannabe authors to sign up to win a one year contract with Western Publisher, Outlaws Publishing. The first part of a Western story was given and the author was supposed to finish it in their own words. Outlaws is very pleased to announce the first entrant is Manuela Schneider. She did a great job with The Pink Pistol, therefore winning that coveted one year contract.

The story of Sally Maguire, social reporter for the Waverly Times. After a day of covering three society weddings, Sally is summoned by her boss to return to the scene of the first wedding of the day. The bride is dead. She was pushed or jumped off the balcony of the mansion on Waverly Island. Sally and her photographer friend and mentor, Sam, arrive at the scene. Detective Michael Callahan, the new cop in town is none too happy with the arrival of this nosy reporter keeping him from doing his job.
