Die beiden heiraten und lassen sich auf einem abgelegenen Hof am Fuß des Atlas-Gebirges nieder. Voller Freiheitsdrang hatte sie den Aufbruch in ein neues, unbekanntes Leben gewagt und muss doch bald ernüchternde Erfahrungen machen.
