Captain Don Harr is told that the crew of Platoon F is going to travel back to planet Earth for further study. But Rear Admiral Parfait has decided he wants to join the mission, acting in the role of Senior Diplomat. As they head off to the planet they'd visited during their last mission, they soon find they've somehow arrived 500 years in the past. Worse, one of Harr's officers is captured by religious zealots and they've sentenced her to death because they believe she's a witch....

A group of antiquated robots have decided that they've had enough of being treated like second-class citizens. Working together, they take over the sewage plant on Segnal Prime and start pumping the sludge back up into the buildings. Seeing that this is bordering on a terrorist-level attack, Platoon F is sent in to regain control of the situation, but it turns out that the robots have just been doing this as a diversion. Captain Don Harr and his team of misfit androids have to get back to their ship and chase down the robots before they can make their getaway.

Captain Don Harr and his misfit crew have returned to Segnal Prime 500 years in the future, where they learn that they're all heroes. But when it becomes clear that the race of androids has no need for sentient organic beings, things take a turn for the worse.... Harr and Geezer, having been imprisoned, have to put their heads together to find a way out of this mess. The rest of his crew are taken down to the planet to be paraded around and put through integration. Harr can only hope that a crew of miniature aliens can help to free them before it's too late....
