This wonderful program offers true insight into Ram Dass’ thoughts on a variety of topics that have informed his worldview and subsequent teachings. The feeling thought, developed from Arabic, Gnostic, and Albigensian sources, blossoms as love poetry famous at that time. In this recording, Bly distinguishes between the literal mode, the psychological mode, and the mythological mode, and locates the “Amor” or ecstatic love in the latter, which led to Sufism among the Arabs.

Here, too, the prisoner talks about truly seeing the sky. This is awakening. Camus called this a moment of consciousness. Many people are living as if we are dead. The blue sky is a wonder of life. Awakening. Can we wake up? Mindful breathing. Resurrection. From forgetfulness to mindfulness. The miracle of the resurrection. This is not dogma. When we wake up, then we can get in touch with the wonders of life.

Therefore, we should be watchful of our words. When we go on a diet, we cut out certain foods and we cut back on others.
