Going back to back with a message to share with you today. It’s coming again from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) where he shares this thought with us: “You’re blessed with the opportunity to control what you bring to your environment daily! Bring your own joy today!” The message from Mark is helped by Inky Johnson (@inkyjohnson) and his message about bringing your own joy can be connected with HERE. It’s amazing how fired up I get when connecting with things & people like this. They speak right to my soul. Looking back in my life, it’s becoming clear to me that I’ve always had this knack for connecting with people and things that helped to light a spark in me. Even during dark times, I always find myself gravitating towards things and people like Inky and Mark. In today’s world my friends and for what seems to be getting crazier every day - we need to find ways to not only keep our joy, but to keep bringing it every single day! Join me in committing to finding things every day to keep adding that spark into your life and into your heart. Then go and try and live by those things as well. I found a very targeted message to myself today and it came from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) and this was it: “A message for today … Starting over doesn’t mean failure; it’s a brave act of courage. You’re allowed to try again, no matter how many times you’ve started.” Wow, did I need to hear this and in today’s episode I get a bit fired up about some things that are going on in my life and around all of us too. It’s ok to start again. It’ ok to offer ourselves some grace. It’s totally ok to just keep choosing to get better!! I love that connection! I will be looking at the guy in my mirror looking back at me and telling him - grab my hand, I got you… let’s go!! I remember this thought that I saw from The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) that my friend @DrJeffLpip shared many times. “Hope and Fear cannot occupy the same space. Invite one to stay.” - Maya Angelou was the one who put that powerful thought out there many years ago. I needed this reminder, again, and I know I need to simply make the choice that for me, Hope has the space for sure!
