From #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole comes a spellbinding paranormal romance set in the Immortals After Dark universe: the story of a demon king trapped by an enchantress for her wanton purposes—and the scorching aftermath of him turning the tables and claiming her as his captive—now with a stunning new cover!

For centuries, Rydstrom, fallen demon king of the Rage Demons, has fought to seize his crown, never relenting—until he is tricked into the lair of an exquisite enchantress. If she can tempt him into her bed, everything he’s worked for will be lost.

Sabine, the Sorceress of Illusions, has long accepted her fate: to seduce a demon king. But once she kisses the brutal warrior, she realizes seduction is far from the punishment she’d feared.

Yet just when they begin to fall for each other, one will be forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. Will Sabine give up the only life she knows to save her demon? Or will the proud king lay down his crown and arms to keep his sorceress?

Kresley Cole never disappoints! Her awesome characters beyond come to life with the workings Robert Petkoff, I personally think he is the best narrator in the business.
In this installment of Immortals after Dark its Demon King Rydstom turn to find his fated female, but its not what he is expecting. Sabine the sorceri queen of illusion is Rydstom polar opposite and his fated female who has him tied up in a dungeon. Rydstom and Sabine are constantly battling for dominance over each other and the tables turn on Sabine when Rydstom escapes and Sabine is now the tied up captive. The book is filled with the funny one liners and it always a hilarious pleasure when Nix and Regin make an appearance. Very entertaining, very credit worthy you won't be disappoint! I love Kresley Cole and Robert Petkoff keep up the awesome work!

While this isn't my favorite book in this series, it is still a great one. Both Kresley Cole and Robert Petkoff kick it out of the park. He does such a great job with a wide variety of accents in both male and female voices. There is a ton of Nix which always makes things more interesting.

I love this series.

Any additional comments?

Kresley Cole never fails. Robert Petkoff never fails. "Immortals After Dark" Series never fails. I DON'T EVEN READ THE SYNOPSIS BEFORE LISTENING ANYMORE.

I don't know if I can love a series more than I do this IAD series! Kiss of a Demon King was excellent, just as the others before it. The only negative I would say, is that it started off a little slow for me, and took longer to "hook me" than the others in the series, but it kept building and building, and got better and better!! It was kind of like a "paranormal 50 shades awakening"...a little paranormal with a side of BDSM. I'd looked forward to hearing Ridestrom's story since listening to Wicked Deeds, and I was thoroughly pleased; superbly narrated and definitely worth a credit! The next few in the series are missing---whats up Audible??!!! :( I hope to listen to them soon.

LOVED IT!

I have all the IAD books and have read them more than once. I decided to give the audio version a try and omigosh! I completely adore Robert Petkoff's voice <sigh>, so dreamy! He is so talented and does amazing accents. I know I will listen again and again.
