Great so far!!

I am two books into this epic dragon story. Starting the third book now. Will update this review after I complete the next two books, since it is a 9 book series. First off. If you have a credit. It is well worth it. Second, Ava is a wonderful author and this with the dragon tongue series. I don’t know how I have missed her work. Great writer. Great narrator (for the audio book). Great experience. If you have a credit. Highly recommended!

What an Amazing adventure!

There was not one second that I felt I could be torn for reading. I'd look forward to getting in my car to listen, for breaks to be able to keep listening. Books are so hard to put down, but these are almost IMPOSSIBLE to put down. I want more and I am so glad to have found this Author and the narrator is also incredible. Great voice! Thank you!!

Dragon Riders of Ragond: Nine Book World Boxset

I really love the Dragon Riders of Ragond series! The stories in these nine (9) audiobooks are fascinating and engaging.
The boxset contains 3 trilogies, nine books total:
• Ragond’s Portal War trilogy - Dragon Link, Dragon Rebellion, Dragon Alliance
• Reaping of Ragond trilogy - Dragon’s Fate, Dragon’s Power, Dragon’s Hero
• Ragond’s Witch Hunter trilogy - Dragon’s Mate, Dragon’s Protector, Dragon’s Realm
The characters are well-developed and the story is interesting. Earth born Nova and her best friend Zephyr (Ragond’s Portal War) are realistic, interesting and lovable. - Kira (Reaping of Ragond) is looking for the cure for a dragon sickness. - Yanna (Ragond’s Witch Hunter) must try to save Ragond and Earth when a dissonant timeslip threatens them both.
The stories are well-written and easy to understand even though the magical world of Ragond is not like earth the people are very human. They are all enjoyable reads with lots of action, interesting story lines and delightful characters that will hook you and keep you reading.
Ava Richardson has a lot of writing skill and a wonderful imagination you cannot go wrong with her books. She creates lovable characters and intricate worlds. This audiobook boxset is narrated by Rebekah Nemethy who does a wonderful job. Ava has definitely moved to my favorite authors list.

Best Dragon Book Series I've Read

Books 1-3:
Immediately I can already say that Author Ava Richardson is an amazingly talented writer. Just in the beginning of the first book she has put me in young Nova's unstable foster home in Florida, with words, and then moved her into the forest behind the home in the evening with all it's sounds, again just with words. I could see it all in my mind's eye. As it went further, things got better adding the dragon, a portal and whole other land of Ragond (play on word Dragon - RagonD, just by moving the D!)
The description of the world throughout the 3 books helped me to feel not only like it was set back in an earlier time in our world, but also made me feel like I was there myself. Nova & her friend learn that her mother is from Ragond, making her a Lady in the new land.
Nova and her friend Zephyr end up becoming magic users by going to the Stonehaven school, as well as dragon Riders during their time in Ragond while looking for Nova's mother.
It was all very intriguing and I myself fell into the story very easily as a fellow writer. The descriptions of not only the landscapes, people, adventures and incidents were all very intriguing.
When these first 3 books came to an end, I was disappointed.

Books 4-6:
I know I said I was disappointed upon the end of the last 3 book series, but as this series started it isn't really the end of the series, your just following a new Heroin. You are now following Kira Catellas, who lives with her mother Everly at the beginning when her stepfather dies from a Link-Jump gone wrong with his dragon Axel, from a dragon plague spreading across Ragond. Kira has to go to both the council and her mothers friend Brigit, and make them aware of this plague, as well as to heal Axel.
There is much more is this 3 book section of the series, including learning of Carovan, the capital of Ragond. The golden Aurium strangers, and their school, and why they all of a sudden are in Ragond seeming to want to help find a cure for the dragon plague. This section of the trilogy had me just as intrigued as the first section. I wasn't crazy about certain parts of the Aurium storyline, but everyone has their own opinions and as a writer myself, that is one of mine. I'm sure others will have their own. I also am not sure how I would have rewritten it without pulling the whole book apart, and with respect to Ms. Richardson, I will not go there.

Books 7-9:
In this, the last section of the Ragond planet books the heroin is Yanna. She is a young woman who was raised on earth as a witch-hunter, and she had never felt good enough. Her parents and everyone except for 2 boys, Ash and Felix, had treated her like she couldn't do anything right. On the night in question the had found am amulet they had been looking for, but Yanna had set an alarm off in the process. Upon returning to their camp, her parents began yelling at her. Shortly their after another young woman, Bronwyn, was caught in the act of stealing the amulet by Yanna. At this time, not only did Yanna get blood on the amulet, but Bronwyn also opened a portal and sent Yanna through it to Ragond.
During the first book, Yanna has to learn that magic isn't bad, and dragons aren't monsters. The second book, she helps Stonehaven, a teacher named Wyatt and others against the witch hunters who are coming through portals and attacking Ragond citizens, as well as creating other problems across their world. She also has to help them figure out the time slip with Earth. The last book is to help determine if Ragond is going to disappear or continue to reside attached to earth, and how they will do it.
This was a good 3 book ending series which overall had a little of all 3 girls in it. Intriguing overall. I enjoyed it personally. As a teenage novel series I appreciate that it didn't go beyond kissing and hugging, as these days many teenagers cross too many boundaries in my mind. It was 95-96 hours of listening, but as I said very enjoyable and the voices were wonderful!

I love the narration of this audiobook. I’m really quite pleased with it. This just draws you in and doesn’t really want to let you go. I didn’t wanna stop listening to it, but I had to sleep so good.

Dragon Rider Of Ragond is Nine books in one. Ava Richardson wrote an amazing series of adventures with dragons. Rebekah Nemethy did an incredible job with narrating the series. The series is entertaining, interesting, funny, enjoyable, engaging, and more. Besides dragons there is magic and magical creatures. Follow along with dragons and their riders as they stand between Ragond and annihilation of everything. Ragond maybe Parallel to earth, but when portal start opening everything is in danger. In each story you will meet new and existing characters and see more of Ragond. Can they saved both worlds before it’s too late? Listen to find out more.
