really good

extreamly enjoyable if your a zombie nerd. the narrator did an excellent job captivating my ears. I love the leveling up system. the amount of detail put into the book. love it

I dig it

I found out about Cameron Milan from his Desire series which I highly recommend. This book is very cool, but obviously happens in a different universe.

Very fun listen

I realm enjoyed the character development and pacing of this book. It was a fun listen. My only complaint is that it ended too soon and a bit abruptly.

The book was great...

I loved the story and everything behind it but the narrator was a bit blah when not reading voice parts almost robotic other than that it had a great story and was worth it. I'm looking forward to the next book

Book can be a bit tedious at some points because of the narrator but it is more than made up by a great story!

Really cool take on a zombie out break. Really enjoyed the characters in this one. Could of used a sexy sime girl, maybe in the next one.

it takes 2 hours to get kinda good

good: The over all story was interesting particularly how the whole RPG system was introduced and setup along with progressing strength and magic. characters were given distinctive sounding personalities by the narator that I thought came through well.
bad:so ya know that feeling when you watch a horror movie and you see the MC make such dumb mistakes you feel you need to yell at them? yeah that feeling will be with you for almost a full two hours at the beginning, but it does lessen. The MC doesn't really develop any relationships that matter and it makes the book more of a grindy hack and slash which I kinda liked. The MC kind starts hitting Mary Sue territory at the end and gives us a not that great cliff hanger. For narration I don't really understand why there was so little in flexion for the general narration when it's supposed to be the MCs internal monolog it brought me out of the story a lot.

overall this book was a good way to kill the day because I had to keep pausing at how dumb the charters can be, but you also love hearing about zombies getting pasted causing lvl ups and gaining cool skills.

One of the few books that made a 180

I have read quite a few litrpg's with zombies as the main thing and at first I thought oh it's just another one of those run of the mill survivals were they have a base and run around in a group and at that time well I have read better but it was not the worst so i rated it 4/10 in my mind already. But after half of the book went by I started to change my mind and the book became what I secretly hoped the Mc went solo. The ending was quite the surprise and a bit of a pleasant twist, with that I rated it 8/10.

The narrator is one of the worst one's I have heard, he's got the male/female different voices down good but it just sounds so monotone.

I dunno if the author will make a sequel but if he does I hope the mc will go solo, groups are so overrated!

a small show build but it picks up quickly. awesome story. needs more books though.
