A sweet and enjoyable story

I really loved the female character, Kate. She was really funny, adorable, and how could Zack help but fall for her. I enjoyed this story from start to finish.

Bennett creates another sexy Cold Fury hero & a nerdilicious nanny heroine who's all heart.

Exceptional story and narration

Zack is not going to be an easy review to write because this book was one that you couldn’t put down and will leave you with a hangover. This is book three in the Cold Fury series and each one can be read as a stand alone. Zack is a character that was introduced in two books and I was glad to have read about him prior because it gave an interesting insight into what life was like for him before his downward spiral. Although, the author does discuss these things so you don’t have to have read the first two books, but it did give him a greater depth. Here I thought the prior books had me on an emotional ride, but the author has most definitely outdid herself with Zack and his story. The same narrating duo that did the narrations for the other books also did this one and they brought their game with them to tell Zack’s story.
After the car accident that put his hockey career on hold while recovering and also left him a single dad, I didn’t know where this story was going to go. There were many shocking moments along the way and there was only so much that his teammates and family were able to do for him. It especially was difficult as it was time to return to the ice. Not really caring and leaving it to his sister to pick the new live in nanny, Zack really didn’t know anything at all about Kate.
Kate is very thankful for this job opportunity as she is putting herself through school and finances are very tight. She is your nerdy girl who dresses in baggy clothes with a heart of gold.
The struggles these characters deal with are real and are things that can be easily related to. With the narration and writing of this story you are so in for a story that when you take a break it will take you a moment to come back to reality. You will experience great support and understanding as well as frustration, anger, tears and laughter all while on the edge of your seat wondering how is this story going to end because you will be guessing not knowing until the very end. I am looking forward to continuing this series.
