You’re the One is my first book by Layla Hagen and it was a great first read! I loved the natural progression of Hunter and Josie’s friends to lovers relationship. It was a little predictable at certain times but believable nonetheless. What I loved most is that their friendship had a study base and solidified their relationship when things became tough. Joe Arden narrative was on point! His deeply sexy gravely voice really works for Hunter’s voice! 🔥Maxine Mitchell nailed her narration of Josie with dreamy sighs and uncertainty about her choices while maintaining a firm countenance and take charge attitude at others . This was a very enjoyable listen!

Easy Friends to lovers Romance

Great story, struggled to keep my attention at times but their love story got me through it. Narration was great!

Amazing book and audiobook!

I love how Layla Hagen writes a book! You're the one is another page turner. And the start to another great series! Hunter and Josie give you all the feels. Best friends for 15 years when Hunter turns to Josie for help! He needs to her fake he his wife!

Wow- what a story! I fell in love with Josie and Hunter and the Winchesters! Layla Hagen always writes great families who make you laugh and appreciate what real supportive relationships look like!

Hunter and Josie go into their fake relationship with boundaries but do they really last........ What I loved about this book was watching Josie and Hunter grow together and within themselves. As they admit their feeling for each other, how do they stay best friends who are always there for each other, yet fall in love? They chemistry is intense and as they get to happily ever after, I fell in love this great book that just makes you want more of them! I cannot want for more Winchesters to come!

Love the narration and the characters coming to life!

You're The One by Layla Hagen is the first book in her Very Irresistible Bachelors series. A beautful story of best-friends to lovers and the delicate issues that arise when you risk moving your friendship to the next level. Hunter and Josie met as teenagers in private school and became friends after Hunter defended Josie and she decided they were besties. She is an integral part of his life and is deeply immersed in his weekly family events with his aunt and cousins. The story of their friends to lovers arc is well-paced and well-written. A slow-build that explores all the issues they face. Telling their family, the risk of losing their friendship, everything they face in addition to the risks of starting a new relationship. But the chemistry between them won't be denied. Once Hunter decides to make Josie his, she really didn't stand a chance. Told in dual POV, the story is a slow burn of two awesome people with wonderful and supportive families that take a risk and turn friendship into more. Loved it! Enjoy!

The narration was spot on - with both male and female voices doing a great job of embodying the characters and their emotions.

Great Book!

This book was great, I love the narrator’s of this book. They make a great couple for doing these books. The story line was good as well. I can relate to it in a lot of different ways which makes it easy to get into it. Totally would recommend!
