unique’s story is one we can all take to heart- you are what you eat + food is medicine. I liked that she narrated the book herself- gives the personal touch. I’ve been on the fence with starting the bean protocol- this book made it more accessible and helpful to know the “why” of it all. Recommend!

Would appreciate if the author would let the audience know if the material is only written for people with high hormones. If so, please put that in the description of the book so as not to cause harm to its reader.
The story is interesting and the health perspective is intriguing. The language (very high in curse words) was not offensive but seemed strange and out of place.

Remarkable Personal Healing Journey
I loved hearing this story in the author’s own voice. This is an amazing account of a life threatening health issue and how the author moved into healing by trusting herself, and digging deeper for a path through. The completely natural approach is based wholly on the healing power of the body with support from food — nature itself. And, a great deal of patience, perseverance, and dogged determination. Unique shares her success healing her body of Crohn’s disease with a healing diet, as a way for others who struggle with a myriad of disorders, to consider and hopefully gain some faith to try something holistic. Hearing about how someone actually beat a life threatening malady with Food, is powerful encouragement. In a straight talking, no holes barred way, Unique shares the real ups and downs of the process.

Loved it!!
I have wanted to get my hands on a copy of this book for quite some time so I was elated when I saw it made as an audiobook. Unique is such a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Myself, I am healing from autoimmune and gut related ailments, and am a few months into my bean journey. Hearing Unique’s story especially narrated by her brought me to tears more than once. It was really what I needed to hear to reiterate the natural path that I have taken. Very grateful.
