Publisher's Summary

Eric Callahan is a powerful man, and his sharp business sense earned him the nickname Shark. Yet under this façade is a man who loves his daughter and would do anything for her. When he and his daughter move to San Francisco for three months, he has one thing in mind: expanding his business. As a widower, Eric is not looking for love. He focuses on his company, and his daughter - until he meets Pippa Bennett. She captivates him from the moment he sets eyes on her.

Pippa Bennett knows she should stay away from Eric Callahan. After going through a rough divorce, she doesn't trust men anymore. But there's something about him that draws her in. He has a body made for sin, and a sense of humor that matches hers. Not to mention seeing how adorable he is with his daughter melts her walls one by one.

The chemistry between them is undeniable, but it's the connection that grows deeper every day that has them wondering if love might be within reach. When it's time for Eric and his daughter to go home, will he give up on the woman who has captured his heart or do everything he can to remain by her side?

Wonderful

Layla Hagen's Bennett series is amazing. One of my favorites. The performances by Kendall Taylor and Jeremy York really bring the characters to life.

I loved it

I think this is my favourite book in the series so far. Layla Hagen writes books that draw you into the story and each book feels like your favourite, had something that resonates and keeps you coming back for more. This book hit me in the feels more than the first two, I had a few tears at a couple of parts. Eric Callaghan is a single father who is only going to be in San Francisco for a short time, he isn't looking for love but there is something about Pippa Bennett that he just can't resist. Pippa has been hurt, she is now focused on helping her 8 siblings find love, that is until she meets Eric. Sparks fly and soon they're in head over heels, but what will happen when Eric has to leave?

I've never listened to Kendall Taylor before, she was amazing. The emotions she was able to convey were so good, I need more.

It's been a while since I listened to anything narrated by Jeremy York, this book just reminded me how fantastic he is and why I need to spend more time with him in my ears. No one performs sweet alphas quite like Mr York!

I LOVED Pippa's story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! because this family is one of my favorites.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Out of all the siblings, I think Pippa is my favorite. Pippa is my favorite because of her matching skills. She is so "sneaky" about it which adds extra entertainment to his.

Have you listened to any of Kendall Taylor and Jeremy York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was a first for me. I loved their voices. I would rank them among some of my favorites to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could have I would have!

I hate to give bad reviews...

Sometimes I don't review when something isn't very entertaining. This series and the narrators were not what I've experienced nor expected. The narration was rather boring. There was no passion with these characters. Story wasn't bad but this didn't hold my interest like some of the other series. Where was the romance and passion? Glad I didn't use a credit. This is a part of the romance package but was so dissatisfied and disappointed. Ms. Hagan does have some other great books though.

Pleasant but slow.

This book was a pleasant listen but I could not finish. I know it sounds contradictory but despite the niceness of it all, the story was slow moving for me. The heroine is one of nine siblings and so the story is family focused, spending time on her relationship with her siblings and their spouses. Those siblings are the protagonists in their own stories. If you are a patient reader and love the family world building in books that have related novels (about the secondary characters), this will be right up your alley.

The author probably sets a realistic pace for a romance between the heroine and the hero as they orbit around each other, but I prefer a story that has the romance on centre stage from the get-go and the family being secondary. That balance was off for me here. I imagine that dynamic changes as the book goes on, but it took too long for impatient me.

On the positive side, I really liked that the story lacked swearing, insta-lust and alpha controlling behaviour. But after more than 2 hours of listening, something held me back – I was not invested in the romance or the promise of it - and I could not go on for another 4 hours.

The narration was not my favourite either.

If you can, read the Amazon Kindle sample and listen to the Audible sample to give you a good introduction to the style of this story. While it’s not for me, this novel might suit a more patient reader.

Oldest sister Pippa meets a worthy match

This story interweaves the story though not the courtship of Pippa’s previous marriage to a truly nasty, greedy SOB to a steady romance with a nice, wealthy suitable widower and his preteen daughter. Not sure how the over protected, over indulged, wealthy, preteen ended up so accepting and supportive but it is implied it is due to her health issues and being a bullying victim. In any case the couple tension and drama is Not due to this an normally easy going tween but rather the dad/ boyfriend who seems to be able to smoothly own and run an multi million dollar company but has trouble seeking validation of an obvious decision for his future from his mother and daughter let alone the love of his life. Pippa also is full of smart flirtatious quips until it counts and she becomes tongue tied. It is all about communication with this pair and the last 3 chapters speedily contain most of the resolutions. The narration by Jeremy York was great, whereas Kendall Taylor’s was a bit monotonous. This book is under the romance package where it belongs with the earlier 2 books in the series. Not sure if or when I’ll read the rest of the series since they are not under the package but maybe that will change or they will be offered as sale options. Nice stories but not worth the full price or a full credit. Maybe the books are in library or used bookstore.

Pippa is my Favorite!

Would you listen to Your Forever Love again? Why?

Yes! I love Pippa and her story. The story is so relatable to real life and I really enjoy listening to this story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pippa. I can completely relate to Pippa and my absolute favorite part is when Pippa has Eric watch her TV show with her and Eric can't believe how Pippa can watch crime TV shows but reads romance novels. That is me to a T. I love romance novels (but prefer them on audio) and really love the crime shows too. But Pippa is also a lot like me in giving people the benefit of the doubt and knowing how to read people as well.

Have you listened to any of Kendall Taylor and Jeremy York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have heard Jeremy before, but I don't think I've heard Kendall before. But I do like both narrators. At first I didn't like that there were different narrators for each book in this series. Most of the other series that I've listened to had the same narrators the whole way through the the series. But after going through this series a second time, I do like that each book has different narrators because it actually gives a different voice to each of the members of the Bennett family.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I always want to listen to my books in one sitting. Sometimes I can listen all in one sitting, but not always.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoy how all of the family members come into play throughout the book and not just the two main characters that are in the book. I love seeing the relationships between all of the Bennett clan and how everything keeps developing throughout the series.

Love the Bennetts!

Bennetts...Bennetts... and more Bennetts! Words cannot describe how much I love the Bennetts! Love Layla Hagen! Love the story of Pippa & Eric! Kinda a second chance romance for both of them...one dealt with being a widow, the other dealt with being a divorcee. Loved Julie as well! Stories with the main characters having children are my favorite!

Narration better than previous read in this series

Eric Callahan and his daughter are only in San Francisco for three months to expanding his business. Eric is not looking for love. Until Pippa Bennett. She captivates him from the moment he sets eyes on her. Pippa whole world was her family and work. She was an exceptional creative mind when it came to what she does like no one else. She was also a sweet soul. She took to Eric's daughter like no other. Eric took to her and did not look back. Things moved along and life came along. Eric had to make a decision. That when mama Callahan states her peace.

Eric and Pippa was a beautiful read.
