Another sweet and steamy edition

As with the other books in the series, this is a low angst sweet romance. In this case, it's a friends to lover, brother's best friend romance, although in this case, the brothers don't care as much that their sister, Alice, who we met in prior stories, starts to fall in love with Nate, Sebastian's best friend. I really liked the story and I thought that their banter and relationship was well done. The story kind of melds with the others- there's a definite formula and it's low angst but so sweet.

I listened via audible escape and these are new to me narrators who did well. Both jo Raylan and Ryan Turner did well, playing multiple characters well. Overall, an enjoyable narration.

This book just like the entire series is perfection, Alice and Nate are so lovely, that love of a lifetime is so sweet and the sparks that being together radiate from both of them makes this book just perfec!!

Perfornance was dull

The female voice was monotone and talked too low and fast. I sometimes had a hard time hearing her.

I’m truly enjoying this series. It makes me mad, glad and even laugh out loud! Despite there being a common theme, I love each family members story. Looking forward to the remaining books

Every book in the series so far has been nothing short of fantastic! Alice and Nate's story was so heart touching and real.

Bennett family love doesn’t fail...again

I love Layla Hagen and the Bennett family. We’ve been getting teased with alice and Nate’s story for several books now and it did not disappoint. Childhood crushes developing into deep, passionate and selfless love seasoned with sassiness and cockiness and this book is just about perfect.
I will be so sad when this series is over and all the Bennett’s are settled.

While the narrator was not my favorite, I don’t think it was her fault that the audio sounded muffled. There must have been some issue when mixing it or recording because I have heard her narrate other audiobooks and there hasn’t been any problem. Overall the story was good although he development seemed a little rushed, even in comparison to the other books in the series.

sweet, not a hea for me

spoiler alert. I i took 1 star from the story because she leaves her tight knit family for his job. Since he had a great job already, a man truly in love would never have wanted her to leave her family for what was pretty much the same or barely better job. I was sad and disappointed
