Publisher's summary

Downsized from her job.

Dumped by her boyfriend.

Depressed about that upcoming 60th birthday.

Not a good week for Andi McConnell.

But now there's good news: She's just inherited a limousine, a long, sleek, black limousine, from an eccentric uncle.

There's also bad news: The dead body that soon turns up in the trunk. And Andi is the top suspect in the murder.

Enter Keegan "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, former TV detective, very interested in the case - and in Andi. As they work together to solve the crime, a big question looms: When the bullets start flying, are the windows in Andi's limo really bulletproof?

Gorgeous Lemo, Love Triangles & Clean Mystery

Parents- PG-PG13 - this is acceptable for preteens and up
Language- none
Violence- PG13- normal to genre, dead body some gun violence but nothing very graphic
Sexual Content- PG- alluded to relationships but no described interactions, flirtation but nothing really to warn of

Really fun cozy mystery with a slightly older main character, Andi just turned sixty was laid off and inherited an awesome long black lemo... But when the body of her ex-boyfriend is found in the trunk her life becomes messy. It's a fun who-done-it cozy mystery with characters that are very likable... in most cases. Definitely recommend for those that like the clean cozy mystery and are maybe looking for a slightly more mature story.

Narrator- (3⭐) Pleasant voice, not the best differentiations, and the speaking speed felt a little slow but better at 1.25x speed.

Limo-sized fun!

What a pleasant surprise! I had never listened to a Christian cozy mystery before and wasn't sure what to expect. The book follows Andi, a woman going through several transitions between losing her job, her boyfriend dumping her and planning to move away. Things soon become complicated when a body is found in the back of her newly inherited limousine! The narrator does an excellent job developing the voices for the characters and creating a pleasant listening experience. Looking forward to reading more from this author and this series.

not for me

This might be a good book, but I can't get passed the slow pacing of the story.

Everything I look for in a Christian cozy mystery!

I thoroughly enjoyed this fresh and funny beginning to a new mystery series. The characters were thoroughly relatable, quirky, and fun - the kind of people you really wish were your next-door neighbors so you could be best friends. The mystery was quite puzzling. And I loved the spiritual journey of the main character and how it was spurred on by her sweet, slightly mysterious, and totally lovable best friend/next-door neighbor/daughter figure. I loved that while it was cozy, the book never felt trite or formulaic. The secondary characters weren't flat and there were some good storylines besides the mystery. I am so excited to read more in this series! It is everything I look for in a Christian cozy mystery!

Delightful .... clean, fun and addictive.

Couldn't stop listening and the ending didn't disappoint. Loved that the main character was turning 60 not 20. So refreshing!

Really good!

I thought this was a very good first in the series. I really like that the characters are like real people that you would meet. The dialogue was natural, and the mystery was good. I will listen to the next in the series to see what happens to the characters. I don't seek out religious mysteries as a rule, but I did really enjoy this one. Melinda Cumming did a great job narrating. There are some repetitions, but it isn't the worst.

Poor editing

I love Lorena McCourtney!! He writing is hilarious!!! I just got tired of listening to the reader repeat herself due to poor editing.
