This is my new favorite author. I love this story. I love the narrator. I laughed so hard Thank you!

fun and suspensful

the reader was very pleasant to listen to. she did a rely good job with the different characters voices. the story line was easy to follow.

A page turner you can't put down

I read a lot of mysteries and it is a lot of fun when it can be weaved with humor and lovable characters. I have to read more about her struggle with God, her passion for truth, and to find out answers about her father and brother. I look forward to the next visit with this cozy mystery series.

Lighthearted feel good book

I love mysteries, and this one had action & adventure coupled with great humor. I also enjoyed the unfolding journey of Gabby’s view on God & the thought processes along the way because people do often doubt God when they’ve been through the traumas of life—the love & truth from others will help them come to a place of faith, just as a couple of the characters helped Gabby.
This was an easy read that was very enjoyable.

Delightfully funny characters

I really like this story as the main character reflects what most people in this world believe about God. However, the witness of Christian characters in the novel convince her to give God a second look. That is what we are all called to do; shine His light so others may see.

~Great story and narrator~

This is the first book that I have read by Christy Barritt, and I loved how she writes! One can really hear the quirks of Gabby, the main character, and understand her type of personality. It's a quick-starting, satisfying mystery story with (un-sensual) romance dusting the edges. I appreciated her making Christianity a main theme, making it a meaningful title to me. I would say that the writing style is good for ages 14+, although this title does mention affairs as part of the mystery. Also, I have to say Reba just made the story 10x better by her voice acting. I can definitely hear Gabby having that voice now! I look forward to the next books!
