Publisher's summary

From Wall Street Journal and #1 Amazon bestselling author Winter Renshaw comes a fast-paced, emotional romance about what happens when the wrong twin falls for the right man.

Being an identical twin has its perks, but when my sister asked me to sub in for a date with Roman Bellisario, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. Sure, he’s sinfully handsome and successful, but he also got me fired from my dream job three years ago.

This time, my sister’s promotion is riding on this date, so I have to say yes. And as it turns out, we’re strangely perfect for each other. I sell art. He collects it. We’re both obsessed with the same obscure, mysterious artist that most people don’t even know exists.

Roman is guarded, though, and I can understand why. He’s a widowed single dad. But as one date leads to another, he starts to let me in, and I can’t help but fall for him.

The problem is Roman still thinks I’m my sister. Is our twin swap going to be the best thing that ever happened to me and Roman—or the lie that tears us apart?

Cute

Great performance, good book! I listened to this book for free via Kindle Unlimited but if you are a huge romance fan it’s worth the Audible credit.

Sweet Romance!

I read it and loved it. The audiobook version is great! I like Winter Renshaw's writing. Roman and Sloane's story is beautifully written, entertaining, sweet, and engaging. They are perfect for each other. The storyline is interesting, and heartwarming. Tristan James and Stella Bloom did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it.

Great narrators but…

The story was decent and well written. The ONLY thing I didn’t care for about this book was that it was kind of depressing! There’s just so much inner turmoil going on. Other than that this book is extremely well done from the dialogue to the concepts.

Love Happens When You Least Expect It

“You were always meant for me, Sloane,” he whispers, his lips grazing mine.

“It’s you,” he says. “It’s you or it’s no one.”

You or Someone Like You was angsty delicious goodness and I was caught up on every single word. The chemistry, the teasing slow burn…it was just so freaking good. Sloane and Roman were so perfect for each other that it hurt.
Roman, heartbroken and grieving when we first met him, is done with everything relationships and love but he never expected Sloane.
Sloane was sweet and selfless, love wasn’t on her radar at the moment but life had other plans.
I absolutely loved watching these two fall.

The premise of this story had me intrigued and during my read I was anxiously on pins and needles. With every turn of the page, I never knew if it would be the moment of truth and how everything would be after the smoke cleared.

Winter Renshaw’s books are a one sit read for me. From the moment I pick it up, it’s impossible to put it down until I get to that dreaded last page and forced to say goodbye. Sloane and Roman’s story was no exception.

Follow the Signs ♥️🎨🖼️💙

loved the love story of Roman and Sloan. It’s amazing how things just come together the way they should. How grief can lead to a second chance at love.

I loved the little twist in the story. It’s woven so well, it becomes seamless. A beautiful love story!

The narrators do a good job. With the listen.

Not my favorite book from W. Renshaw.

Roman & Margaux/Sloan: TRIGGERS: cancer. This book was unbelievably slow and a bit boring. So Roman is a widow and a single father of two young girls. Margaux and Sloan are identical twins. In an attempt to get a promotion at her job, Margaux gets Sloan to go on a date set up by her boss and pretend to be her. The plan: to be as boring as possible so he'll lose interest. 🤦🏾‍♀️. Only he doesn't… they end up having more things in common than they expect. Never mind Roman is the man that got Sloan fired a few years ago. After a few dates they got closer and started falling but Sloan wanted to tell him the truth and Margaux kept guilting her into keeping the secret. Then all hell breaks loose. I didn't like the "real" Margaux… She's very spoiled and inconsiderate. I felt bad for Sloan because while she's trying to help her sister, her sister doesn't care about how it's affecting her. I also didn't like how Roman appears to have fallen for Sloan "Margaux" but never once uttered her name to his daughters or even introduced them. The story did get better but that was when there was literally an hour left out of the seven the author spends dragging on the switch. Not my favorite book from W. Renshaw.
