female lead drags the book down

story is ok, could be good but the female Mc is terrible. Her phrasing takes you out of the book and her accent is ... not good. I'd rather have read this one.

so much missed potential

This book could have been amazing, however the female narrator was TERRIBLE! it's like she was found on wish. I'm sure she has potential however I'm surprised that the editors listened to the book and thought this is it! let's publish. Then some parts of the book made me cringe and I'm not sure if it's because I was over the narration or if it was just bad. overall the guy was phenomenal, the book was just "ok" nothing I'd recommend. I would definitely try to republish with a different female narrator though, she's messing the book up!

Emotional and Sweet!

The Dirty Truth is a beautifully written sweet romance. I read it and loved it. The audiobook version is amazing. I loved the characters. They are complex, and well developed. West is such an interesting and enigmatic character. Elle is beautiful, kind, smart, caring, and supportive. I loved Scarlett. The storyline is gripping, emotional, and engaging. Aaron Shedlock and Nicola Lambo did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

major editing issues

this audio book has major editing issues. several seconds will go by with nothing And you wonder if there's something wrong with the book. It's probably just very bad editing.

Narrator made it difficult to enjoy

The male narrator was fine, but the female narrator had awkward pauses and weird inflections that didn’t match the dialogue and made it hard to listen to. I ended up speeding up the audio to make up for the long pauses.

Loved the lead rolls

The book is well written and has a sweet story. I would have liked more spicy Sean’s, but they were glazed over frequently. Overall good book.

Disjointed story, unlikeable female narrator

This started off strong with relatable characters and an interesting storyline, but quickly lost steam and became a rambling unfocused mess. The male narrator is always great, and he doesn't disappoint in this audiobook. The female narrator didn't maintain any solidness in her voice acting, and there were multiple pauses in her speaking that could have been edited so much better to make them less noticeable. She also didn't even seem to try to create a maaculine intonation when reading the male parts. I am glad this audiobook was included with the ebook download through Kindle Unlimited, as I would have regretted paying money or using a credit on this audiobook.

Horrible female narrator

I finished it but the female narrator was absolutely dreadful. the lead male character definitely was not a slummy Boston accent as she portrayed. so cringy!!!!!
