It was a great book, but why continually make the wife feel as though her husband is cheating? PLEASE change that narrative in book 2!

K. C. Mills is an amazing writer the character development the storyline the plots the twists were fantastic.... Mr. Andrews's voice and performance was swoon worthy, Ms. Laurel may not have been the best voice for the fmc, howevershe didn'ttake anything away from this outstanding story. My hope is that when the kindle book drops in October the audio version will also be available because babaaaaaaaay what a cliffhanger

Ok I listened to this more than once. At first I was lost or confused now I'm mad I need book 2. This was actually a good one!!! Old girl recorded and played the recording thinking it was about Kierra or she was just being messy! Karma is coming for you...

Ugh!!!!

Love a deep and twisty story Mills but goodness! Why Nari why? So frustrating when there was so much communication about nothing issues and not enough about the things that matter. Love Alicia! Does it have to be such a challenge to handle the straggler situationships adequately the first time instead of leaving room for the scorned and jealous to wild out? Smh. Ready for Too so we can get to the bottom of this drama and find out who gets some act right.

Nari is a little insecure.

I don’t know why it was hard for Nari to ask her husband about what the women sent her on social media. Why only take the word of a woman and not hear her husband side especially knowing she wasn’t the only woman engaged to Kincaid.

Entertaining

I am a huge fan of KC Mills. She is one of my favorite authors. This book however, was a bit of a struggle. The way events unraveled seemed a bit forced. The book was not engaging until the end. Of course there is a cliffhanger and I can’t wait till book two comes out. The female narrator was good, however the male narrator was very robotic. No emotion. Hope there is a different narrator in part two.
