Publisher's summary

One man looking for love in all the wrong places. Another always in the wrong place.

Brokenhearted and love-scorn, Johnny finds himself forced back into the dating pool by his overbearing mother and meddling best friend. Is it fate, interference, or a dating app glitch that keeps pairing him with his complete opposite, a handsome brick mason with a smile that makes bad decisions worthwhile?

While Aiden is seemingly perfect inside and out, Johnny is a realist. There's no way that man's peanut butter goes with his clumsy, nerdy jelly. If only he could convince his libido and the determined brick mason that he's not on the market, he could get back to his safe solitary life.

Aiden wants more than just being a pretty face and a night of fun after years of fumbling through encounters that never went deeper than the surface. When he meets Johnny, something behind the skittish photographer's snarky facade speaks to his wanton heart. There has to be a reason they keep crashing into each other in more ways than one. Maybe attraction isn't supposed to make sense and love, even less.

An MM romcom about the ripple effect of broken trust and learning to love yourself before you can love another.

I struggled through the first part, but hang in there!

Jane

As others have said, I had enough of Johnny’s whining and unwillingness to move past old hurts. I had thoughts of giving up but I’ve loved all of the books Dianna Roman has in audible, so I figured I’d tough it through. I’m so glad I did! It was totally worth it!!

Good story. Good narration

I enjoyed getting to know all the characters in this story. I appreciated nicely developed female characters that are sometimes overlooked in M/M romance. The romance was a little more slow burn than I usually prefer, but the payoff was sweet.

The balance between steamy and "getting to know you" moments was well constructed. Including family in the building of the romance was also well done.

Overall an entertaining story with a well performed narration by Michael Dean. I am looking forward to the next installment in this series.

All the Best Things!

Could this book be any funnier, sweeter, sexier, or even angstier?

Dianna Roman is my author hero, for when I want my cheeks to hurt from smiling, my throat to hurt from laughing out loud, my pulse to pound from scorching romantic scenes, and my heart to feel bruised (but then so much better) from love.

Michael Dean narrates all the snark of Johnny and Sweetness of Aidan, as these two unlikely men crash into each others’ hearts, again and again!

You Again, book 1 in Roman’s Men of Olympus series, is absolutely everything a reader could possibly want in romance. Johnny’s brilliantly snarky attitude (think broken hearted pain oozing all over the place) and Aidan’s sweet craving for an emotional relationship (questioning himself at every step) make a perfect set up for missed opportunities and unexpected happy endings.

Warning: You WILL be provoked into squealing with laughter and most likely tearing up, as well as fanning yourself from the heat level🔥

Funny and charming frustrating MC

I loved it. Characters were charming and some hilarious situations that made me laugh. If I had to say one thing that bothered me was Johnny's problem with his "flapper." I guess I would have preferred if he learned to accept his body rather than Johnny being ok with it just because Aiden likes it.

Sweet story

Nicely written and as usual Michael Dean did a great job bringing this story and it's characters to life. well worth listening to. Can't wait for book two. HEA and this one can definitely be listened to as a standalone.

Don’t give up

Loved Adrian, but wanted to strangle Johnny. If it weren’t for Michael Dean I probably wouldn’t have continued. Which is a shame. The book become better and the setup for the next book seems promising. My advice is to suffer through Johnny’s bs, it (the book) and he (Johnny) gets better.

Again and again and again

I absolutely loved this audio book. Michael Dean did an excellent job narrating.
The story revolves around Aiden and Johnny. Aiden is looking for love and a future together with a man. Too bad the one that makes him feel all the feels isn't interested. Johnny had his heart broken once and isn't looking to repeat that mistake. He just wants a hookup.
As the two men embark on separate dating-app encounters, they get matched again and again. Aiden is interested while Johnny is convinced that he just wants a quick hook up, and Aiden isn't what or who he is looking for. The characters that surround them are funny, and they are only looking for their friend to find someone to make them happy.
This was well worth the credit.

Didn’t like one of the main characters for 3/4 of the story

Sorry to say that I could not stand the MC Johnny for most of the story. I almost gave up listening to it because he was such a jerk to Aiden. Almost wanted to have Aiden tell him off and find someone who deserved him. Without any spoilers, Johnny redeemed himself and I was happy with the end of the story.

Main character was too much of a jerk

Hard to believe the Aiden character could find the Jonny character attractive. Jonny was so rude and self-absorbed I was rooting for Aiden to stick with Sam.

Johnny was irritating

Johnny irritated me almost from the beginning. His actions were confusing because there was no logical reason he should act that way. I finally got fed up with his attitude and stopped listening less than halfway through. I didn't care what happened to him, and hoped "Swiper" would find someone worth of his charms.
