Great series, but couldn't get into this one.
I don't know if it was the amount of time between the last book and this one, but I had trouble staying interested in this book. It was hard to follow with all of the political angles and trying to remember which characters were which is probably why I didn't get into this one as much. I bet if the book was available right after I listened to the prior book I may have felt differently.

a little rushed
the book seems a little rushed from start to finish, but the characters are rushed too, so that might be okay...
still, it meant that the character interactions which was one of the greatest strengths of the first books are fewer and a little more surface level...
this book ends arc 2 and it seems like book 7 will have the possibility of moving back to the more personal level even if taking place on a larger playing field...
Nick is great every time I hear his voice, this is no different...

I understand the reasoning you had to do the time skip. but I feel like he didn't change enough. 4 years of battle after battle just feel like it would of change more. Also this has been bugging me but I forget what book but I thought he upgraded his storage but every time now you mentioned it it is lvl 1

Totally Awesome!

Series held my interest! I finished book Six...
..if I can predict the ending, I cannot maintain interest. So ii stop reading a few chapters from the The End.
Considering that only a miniscule % of humanity can write at a professional level - Mr. Wong should be extremely proud. a massive achievement, a six novel arc that held our interest.
Yet I am undecided if I want to risk pushing on.... Thank you for your hard work and letting me escape to your alternate world and return undamaged 😄
