Wonderful Story

Dragons, wizardzs (good and bad), witches, enchanted lands, forbidden love, secrets upon secrets, quests and much much more. A must read!

You will want to listen twice, and many more times

I read this book years ago. And I read the book many times. Now, I'm ready to listen to it many more times. The reader is very good. When you listen to it, you will want to listen again. It's definitely worth buying. I'm a little excited to listen to the second book.

Enthralling story that will capture your imagination

This is an incredible entry into the wonderful world of The Heartlands, Westland, and D’hara. The story line is steady and consistent with a great fantasy story. Terry Goodkind has written a very exciting story that will provide many wonderful hours of entertainment. As with every other book that is 1000+ pages long, it has areas that slow down and drag the story. Luckily, these short areas do not last very long. As far as the performance of the reader. I was put off occasionally by the way that the reader applies voices to the characters. This is only a minor inconvenience and I was able to get around this quickly. Overall, this is a fantastic world of color, adventure, love and fantasy. I strongly believe that anyone would have a great experience listening to this book. I sincerely recommend this book. It will capture your imagination and you will be hooked to the story and then on to the next book. There are 15 books in all. Each of them stronger than the last. There is also prequel books to fill in backstory and answers to your questions.
