Publisher's Summary

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley brings a new story in her Chaos series...

“You know you can’t keep a good brother down.”

The Chaos Motorcycle Club has won its war. But not every brother rode into the sunset with his woman on the back of his bike.

Chaos returns with the story of Dutch Black, a man whose father was the moral compass of the Club, until he was murdered. And the man who raised Dutch protected the Club at all costs. That combination is the man Dutch is intent on becoming.

It’s also the man that Dutch is going to go all out to give to his woman.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new listeners, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Not as good as I hoped

Although I know this is a novella, it was missing a lot. There was no chemistry, and it was complete insta love. Also why are all of her African American characters portrayed as loud and obnoxious? The narrators were good.

No Angst

Do you know those books that are just good stories? That don’t have too much crazy, or too much arguing, or too much angst? I love those books.
This was that book. And I definitely want Caroline to get her redemption with Jager 😍

Great check-in to the Chaos family

This was the Dutch Black’s story and it was great to return to the world of the Chaos MC and see how everyone was doing. I’m not sure how to describe this book really because even though they started out a little rocky due to the timeline it really was insta-love. Georgiana is a perfect match for Dutch and I loved seeing him get his HEA. John Hartley and Stella Bloom were fantastic and brought this book to life in the best way. Loved it!

Not much depth

Love the author but this book felt under developed & rushed. Only one of her books I would not listen to again or recommend.

🌻Just wish it was longer😭🌻

I loved getting to revisit these characters and this world; they are among my favorites. It seemed so weird that Dutch was 27, almost as weird that my oldest just turned 30. This novella wasn’t packed with the action and dangers, of the past novels, but that was because the MC had finally made it through all their troubles and made it to the other side. I was happy that KA created an opening for more stories, to come, by creating a new mission for the MC.

I love Stella Bloom but the addition of John Hartley’s narration made for a better audio experience.

As always, revisiting the life and death of Dutch’s father, had me shedding a few tears, but other than that, there was little angst or emotional turmoil. It was a relaxing, entertaining listen and I’ll be watching for more Chaos, in the future.

Another great story

I absolutely love Dutch Black. I can say Georgie had to grow on me but I eventually fell in love with her and the connection she had with Dutch. This narration was good although I don’t feel John Hartley was the way to go with Dutch’s voice he still did an awesome job and of course Stella Bloom is always spectacular! I can’t wait for Jagger’s story.

Another great book from Kristen Ashley.

I read the book first and couldn’t wait for the audiobook. I love John Hartley and he did an excellent job as always, but I felt like his voice was too mature for a 28 year old and that threw me off for a while before the story drew me in and I forgot about that. Stella Bloom as always nailed it. I loved this one and cannot wait for Jagger’s story in March!

I have not laughed this hard in a minute!!!!

I am a super fan of Kristen Ashley. I have just about every book. This one was so freaking funny I caught myself laughing out loud... I mean Really Laughed! I needed it because this pandemic sucks and I know that I’ll listen to this, many of the other books, over and over again.

Chaos+Dutch=💕

Good story and I can’t wait for the next one! Only thing I wasn’t fond of was the reference to ‘white fat cats’. Really not cool KA-I think the less we tear each other down, the sooner we can heal what has gone so wrong. I don’t want to experience that attitude while enjoying a fictional book!
