Fabulous book and audiobook

If Connor Crais is the narrator it’s an immediate download! My goodness his voice is everythingggg! Wild card is probably my new favorite Elsie Silver book!

Elsie Silver can do NO wrong

Great narration! A more modern familial dynamic that resonated with me. I love a found family. I usually don’t care for slow burn but because of the circumstances it was appropriate. Sometimes it feels like authors just use slow burn as a tool to keep the tension going but it’s just tedious. Anything Elsie Silver does it so satisfying for me!

Perfection

Five stars. Absolutely no notes. Elsie Silver has my whole heart. She’s the reason I got back into reading three years ago, and I’ll forever be her biggest fan for that.

This is exactly how an age gap romance should be done. Plus, it’s an ex-boyfriend’s dad romance, which is usually not my thing, but oh my gosh, I’m completely obsessed.

Now, let’s talk about Bash. Yes sir. 10/10. I will fully admit I have a thing for a man in uniform, so I completely get Gwen’s fascination. Their chemistry? Off the charts. What I really loved was that while the age gap is there, it’s not the whole point of the story. It’s not just, “She’s younger, he’s older.” While that does play a small part, it’s more about how they work together and bring out the best in each other. (Also, huge shoutout to Elsie for not giving the 40-year-old ED.) And Gwen, I love her so much. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it, even while admitting that relationships are hard for her because of her messy history with her parents. It felt so real watching her figure it all out. We cannot forget about Clyde, the true MVP. He played such a huge role in bringing Bash and Gwen together, and I was so, so relieved when he didn’t pass away.

This book was such a nice, fast read that I didn’t want to put down. Bash stole my heart, Gwen earned my respect, and Elsie Silver reminded me yet again why she’s an auto-buy author for me. Yeah… five stars, no question.

Clyde’s meddling was top tier!

Loved this book so much! It was a great ending to the series! Loved the relationships between Bash, Gwen, and Clyde! Clyde’s meddling was top tier!

Well that was just about every godsdamned thing. I loved Bash and Gwen so dang much 😭 From their meet cute to their happily ever after, I couldn't get enough of these two. Gwen's sunshine personality was the perfect balance to Daddy Grump, the banter had me smiling nonstop. That is, until they had me thissss close to tears in the third act.

This may be my favorite Elsie story yet. I really enjoyed how she wrote Tripp's part and how he was interwoven into his dad and ex's story. There were times I absolutely hated him and times I just wanted to hug him. Here's hoping he gets his redemption arc, because I needs it and I needs it right meow.

Oh and Ford saving Rosie's pet was possibly the best thing I've ever read.

The audio was fantastic. Megan Wicks and Connor Crais were the perfect duo to bring these two to life and they did so beautifully. I absolutely loved this listen.

Pretty solid

I hate that. It's always like right at the end. There's gotta be some sort of twist thing like I feel like they need to add the twist towards like a little bit more before the end, so that we can get more closure and end activities. Feel like the epilogues here weren't as fulfilling or exciting, as some of the other stories.

Bash & Gwen are perfection

I absolutely adore all of Elsie’s books! I smile. I laugh. I kick my feet. I swoon and I cry. She has an incredible way of telling a love story with sexy spice and amazing side characters and found family. I thought it would be hard to top Tabby and Rhys (Wild Side) but I think she did it. This was a perfect way to end the Rose Hill series!

Perfection!

This book was perfection. This series has been one of my favorites, and Elsie did not disappoint with this book. I honestly just wanted more!

Love love love this one!

This has been my most favorite Elsie Silver read! I loved the characters, the story line, and how, despite the circumstances, it wasn’t raunchy at ALL. It was just the right amount of spice and captivated me from the beginning. 10/10 recommend!

Best story waiting for the next

Best story and narration. The narrator’s were great. Love Connor and now Megan, she is awesome. I love the story. Plus size who loves her body but still had scars. Love how Bash loves all her curves and scars.
